It would have been an even fight.
Solis is a high caliber fighter that would have tested Johnson to his limits with his counter-punching skill, his power and experience.
And Johnson is the kind of guy that would have taken Solis deep and probably drowned him (I can't say expose Solis as being out of shape - that happens every time Solis takes off his shirt), Johnson has the jab, hand speed and technique to keep Solis out of his comfort zone.

Solis will defeat Johnson doubt! Johnson was very smart in backing out in facing the Cuban Olympic Gold Medalist! Solis has impressive speed and raw power even though he is 25-30 lbs overweight. It's a damm shame that he is weighing so much but I have a feeling that Solis' team wants him at the weight that he is now, maybe they think that because Solis is a amall HV ( 6'1 ) that he must have at least 25 lbs over his weight to compensate in case that he fights against a Klitshcko ( 255 lbs ). In a way they are right, if Solis was in his ideal weight of around 220lbs, he will be even quicker and more fluid but his power would go down, a Solis weighing 271lbs that still has speed and good movement as he has shown, his punches pocess much more KO power now...

No way in the World Johnson beats Klitshko, even less Solis...

I would say this now, Solis ( 15-0 WBC #3 ) needs to fight at least 2 solid contenders like Chambers or Povetkin, for him to get even better and more experienced as a pro. Then after he beats them, bring on the K brothers.

If there is one fighter out there that is able to defeat both Klitshckos is Odlanier Solis! No other Heavyweight out there is more amateur accomplished than Odlanier...Heck, he even defeated the legendary Cuban Heavyweight Felix Savon ( TWICE )...
