So, we´ll get Wlad-Pulev with Pulev getting some experience at the top inbetween. That´s very good but I think even then he won´t be quite ready. Of all the young guys he´d be the one I´d pick to dethrone Wlad but not yet. He will lose the fight and might lose his heart, like some other Wlad oppoentns did before.

This is an IBF eliminator tournament, don't get your hopes up:

Adamek will cite venue issues, and pull out to have his "superfight" with Toney.

Solis will get injured and postpone his fight three times.

Adamek will be replaced by Tony Thompson.

Ustinov will get injured the day before the weigh in and forfeit his fight to Thompson.

After a fourth pull out, Solis will be replaced by Ray Austin.

    Pulev beats Austin.

Pulev will suffer a "career threatening" injury and will fight journeymen for 5 years and will be replaced by Maurice Harris.

    Thompson KOs Harris.

    Thompson/Wlad III for 2013.

McVey strats a thread bitching about Wlad fighting pathetic old men when Pulev, Adamek, and Ustinov are available and in the Ring top 10.

    Book it, baby!

Is it sad that I actually believe something similar to this might happen?

Yeah, Adamek is going to take his deluded Polish fans from New Jersey and his huge luck against Chambers and get his cash-out against Wlad with that. He's not doing jack in this tournament.
