Pace is picking up 100 seconds in, looks like we could end up with a very fun fight here if the pace continues at this pace. Lopez does look the stronger man but Kimura getting trhough with plenty of straight rights.

 

2-Bout being fought at mid range and lots of jabs, at the moment Kimura seems the more comfortable with his jab being the most consistent shot, Lopez is about ½ a second too slow at times, both missing with wild straight, good counter straight from Kimura. 2-0

3-Pace has picked up a lot, Lopez keeping the action now and Kimura happy to answer, solid 1-2 from Kimura, Lopez continues to bring the action forward and the crowd are coming alive, Kimura backs up Lopez, Lopez targeting the body of the challenger with a solid left, Lopez still looking that tiny bit too slow against the quick Kimura, Lopez with a solid left but he takes a right in return and another right from Kimura.

4-Lopez bringing the action and we appear to be having a fight with Lopez really having some sustained success at last, Kimura struggling to connect here and Lopez is having a great round picking his moments and landing combinations. Kimura trying to fight back but is being comfortably out landed with Lopez mixing it up well to head and body. Brilliant round from the challenger. 3-1 Kimura

 

Lopez announced as winning on the open scoring, apparently 39-37 across the board to the challenger

 

5-Lopez bringing the action and looking to build on his lead, solid left from the challenger, and a nice hook up close from Lopez, Kimura with two solid body shots and the champion is trying to turn this around but isn't doing enough.

Kimura looked unhappy as he headed to his corner and seemed shocked during the open scoring. Lopez landed the best shots in round 5 as well. Could be 4-1 on the cards very easily.

 

6-Lopez starting fast and we look like we're going to get a fun inside round with both happy to let their shots go through the first minute, Lopez is continuing to out work Kimura and is really building on round the success since round 4.

 

7-Kimura out fast here but Lopez is quickly in control and with his controlled and intelligent aggression, Kimura tagged hard by a left, he's now chasing Lopez with little success...Kimura ends the round on a big attack but too little too late.
