8-Solis is looking for bombs but is firing them from out of range and struggling to connect with anything. Yamanaka with a good left, Yamanaka trying to lure out a lead to counter but Solis not biting, lots of holding by both when they are up close. Fight has lost a bit off spite here.

77-72 to Yamanaka across the board

9-Yamanaka lands a hard left, Solis on the front foot though and looks for a big right, Solis has found some energy and is forcing the action...Solis down-slip...nope ruled a KD by Ian John Useless, Lots of broken action now with holding becoming a regular feature of the fight, hard right by Solis gets through, Yamanaka holding up close, Solis connects with a sweeping right, and a straight right. 10-8 round to Yamanaka but it wasn't a pretty round.

    Solis will need a KO

10-Yamanaka opening up early in the round, Solis takes the shots well. Solis warned to keep them up by Ian John Useless, Yamanaka connects with a left, and a lovely flurry of shots from the champion before he eats a counter right hand, Solis lands a number of solid shots but Yamanaka sees out the worries, Solis is throwing from too far and misses several follow up attacks. Hard left from Yamanaka connects. Solis lands a solid right but Yamanaka clinches.

11-Hard right from Solis early, Yamanaka misses his first 2 left hands but eventually gets one through, and another, and another. Solis tries to force a fight but Yamanaka clinches, and another clinch, Solis gets another right hand through, and another but falls in and Yamanaka recovers, hard let from Yamanaka and a right from Solis, Both almost fall out of the ring with 25 seconds of the round left, Yamanaka with a hard let to the body, hard jab from Solis.

12-Final round. Yamanaka with a left, Solis with a right, Yamanaka looking to land but misses and takes a counter, Solis rushes in and they clash heads-Just a minor one though, Yamanaka eats a right, then backs Solis up and lands a left, Solis firesback, and more lefts from Yamanaka, Solis bleeding from the nose and is taken to the doctor who says continue, only 45 seconds left, Solis with a hard right hand, We have a war yo the bell! Both throwing bombs! And...wait...where is the bell...ah there!

    117-107, 117-107 117-107

Solis's team have said they want a rematched, complained about the scoring and referee but seemed to say "yeah we lost by 3 points"...now watch at the LAtin American press build this into a robbery...
