Listen Povetkin is a great talent, from what ive seen, he has a great amature record and clean pro 1 with a good win over Byrd, but Odlanier Solis is a better boxer with much more skills than Povetkin, I know how much people here love Povetkin, and **** im a fan of him aswell, and even knowing that Solis is not in the best shape right now, If he looses a few he would easily out box Povetkin.

    Better skills?
No, Povetkins a very very good boxer, however.. he doesn't have the power to achieve even though he's got a great deal of physical disadvantages against him. Solis has power, but he's a fatty.. Povetkin's got the ability, but not the power.

I am so not impressed with Solis. Everybody hypes him as the new up and coming heavyweight, all I see is a fat out of shape ****. Not impressed at all. Yuriorkis Gamboa, now that is an impressive up and coming fighter.

How did you come to that conclusion? Perhaps he should have been fighting bums for a year, knocking out bums is easy. It's quite normal that his KO percentage drops when he steps up in class.

Yeah well, he's got good skills, but if he don't even shake up Byrd, I wonder how he's going to beat Wladimir down.

    :rofl

I wouldn't go that far, he's a good prospect, an out of shape prospect.. but saying "Not even this one or that one beats him if he's in shape" is a little disrespecting init.. let the man fight some valuable opponents before you say that again, with all due respect sir.. you're making a foolish comment which you will be hated on for.

Not even Byrd, wow. Byrd is such a glass chin, he has been out on many occasions, right?

The both will lead in the next years of heavyweight divison. I think they gone fight after two years maybe can happen in the year 2010 and we will see who will have more progres and more power to be the best fighter in the next decade.

Byrd has only been stopped by three men, Ike Ibeabuchi, Wladimir Klitschko after going 12 with him before, and Alexander Povetkin. I don't know if you watched the fight but I watched the rebroadcast on PEH TB and Povetkin dominated Byrd. He won every round in my book, shook him up a few times, and it really only was a matter of time before he stopped him.

And Jaycuban Solis has several problems. One his weight is terrible, two it is quite clear that his overall skills have declined and his punches have gotten a lot wider, and three his defense has also declined due to his weight.

Solis has looked good as a pro..but I think its absurd to say with certainty that Solid would beat Povetkin....at his weight he would certainly struggle in the later rounds. I would pick POvetkin by wide UD.

Solis and Sasha are good, Povetkin the leader imo...

I like Chambers personally....... He is the more stable and honest heavyweight.................. Faster hands and more accessable as a fighter..

Povetkin and Solis need to get more work on large American cards..

Let go of the German momas apron strings......
