    Round 2

Perez is leaping in with hooks and missing. Riovalle is countering with jabs and soft rights while pivoting on his lead foot. Perez catches him with a hook and backs him up while building into a combination. Perez drops right uppercuts to the body while chipping away up top with the left. Perez lunges in on Riovalle and their legs tangle, Perez stumbling back.

    10-9 Perez

    Round 3

Perez is moving in wide semicircles, sending out fishing-rod right hands and sweeping in the big left hook. Riovalle manages to avoid them for the first half of the round but then starts to run out of luck. Perez hooks in short bursts and circles, Riovalle timing him by reaching in with rights on the mouth.

    10-9 Perez

    30-27 Perez

    Round 4

Riovalle is backing up and waiting for Perez with velvet hammer rights as Perez stalks around him and puts together right and left hooks from the hip. Perez tightens up and makes a few steps as though he will be more artfully boxing his way inside behind a jab, but quickly regresses to wide hooks when he sees Riovalle's hands lowered slightly. Wild stuff by Perez, most of it missing. A few hooks graze Riovalle's temples as he turns away in a trot.

    10-9 Perez

    40-36 Perez

    Round 5

Riovalle is jabbing, hopping back, edging forward again with the jab, and hopping out again. Perez crouches down and pounces with hooks when Riovalle steps toward him. Both miss jabs from outside as Riovalle leaves plenty of space between them. Perez circles both ways and triples his jab into Riovalle's guard. Blatant low blow by Riovalle. He immediately apologizes with a glove tap, accidental. Perez shakes it off quickly, not milking his recovery time despite it obviously having stung his manly bits. Perez was angered by it, despite it being unintentional and Riovalle having apologized. Big uppercut combo by Perez, driving Riovalle to the ropes. Right hand on the jaw by Perez, lunging up from a crouch. Right to the ribs, left hook on the belt line by Perez, powering Riovalle across the ring. Perez slips on the canvas while throwing a jab and his legs splay momentarily.

    10-9 Perez

    50-45 Perez

    Round 6

Riovalle is blocking and leaning away from Perez's hooks, getting clipped over the eyes with the free space uncovered by his gloves. Perez just keeps hooking like a madman, then sauntering around Riovalle seeking out his next opening...simply piercing through with raw force if he can't find one.

    10-9 Perez

    60-54 Perez

    Round 7

Triple jab by Perez. Riovalle runs in place to get the blood flowing, then tries a few body shots at medium-long range. Perez circles as Riovalle's low hooks scrapes his waistband, throwing some back. Riovalle gets bold and brings the hooks upstairs, mixing in some jabs. Perez bangs out a few semicircles, in constant motion, and drifts to the ropes as Riovalle moves in with uppercuts to the body and chin. Perez slaps a right onto Riovalle's neck from the ropes after covering up to block a jab. Big leaping left hook to the body by Perez to break free. Riovalle is down on a delayed reaction, clutching his side and rolling around in pain.

    KO7!

Moral of the story: don't try and corner scorpions!

The shot didn't even look all that devastating, but it clearly ruined Basuras (yes that is his actual ring name. :rofl)

Power & location. :deal With those factors you don't need to land cleanly or with perfect technique.

McCumby is a big time prospect from Chicago.

He is rocking a sick beard.

    Round 1

They meet in center ring and McCumby quickly walks Rodriguez into the ropes without throwing a single punch. Blocked jab by McCumby. Big right hand to the body. Rodriguez nearly goes down. Another. McCumby lands a right uppercut to the body, a partially blocked left hook to the face, then a right clubbing right on the ear and Rodriguez goes to a knee. He is down for a full three seconds as McCumby stares down at him, loads up a right hand and drops it on his backside and then face. BRUTAL. The ref gets in and waves before McCumby can throw anything else.

    KO1!! - or was it a DQ?

It honestly could/should have been a DQ!

That goes into the books as McCumby KO1.

    He improves to 12-0 (10)

    He should probably be 11-1.

    Round 1

Paredes is scissoring his legs, dragging the right along without even lifting it, moving laterally around Aoh and hurling in overhand rights with no jab to set up. Aoh just turns and sizes up his shorter opponent, pawing with the right jab and putting in a left uppercut to the bread basket. Quick right hook to the head by Aoh, circumventing Paredes' guard. Clinch. Break. Aoh deflects a left jab by pushing out his right. Aoh moves forward and eats a glancing left hook but isn't troubled by it. Aoh swats with the right hook to the face and fires the straight left to the body while circling close.

    10-9 Aoh

    Round 2

Aoh is nodding his right glove, knocking Paredes' repetitive and predictable left jabs down as they come in without even needing to move his arm. Aoh squats and looks for a body shot as Paredes creeps around him. Aoh fires the left and hits Paredes on the stomach while his back kisses the ropes. Another left to the body by Aoh from outside. Paredes jumps in with a body combo. Aoh leans back, dodging a right hand. Hard left uppercut on the sternum by Aoh. Right jab pushed into the forehead by Aoh, keeping Paredes at length. Aoh slips the left jab while strafing. Quick left uppercut to the body, right hook to the face by Aoh. Paredes down! He bangs the mat in frustration. He is up at seven. Aoh pops in combos, right hooks to the face to lead and then lefts to the body. Aoh is dancing around Paredes, light on his feet. Aoh is getting very confident, walking forward with his right glove held out to catch whatever Paredes throws. Paredes lunges with a right. Aoh leans back to slip and prepares a slingshot counter. HUGE CHOPPING LEFT BY AOH. Paredes is down and out!

    KO2!

I'm curious what statement, or did you just mean KOOTY candidate? :think

The result itself isn't anything too special. Paredes is mentally tough but has lots of wear and tear for 30 and was never exactly durable. Anyone decent he faces knocks him out (ie Crawford, Barros)

Hell, at one point in time Fernando Saucedo's record was 39-5-3 (1) where his only stoppage in 47 bouts was Paredes! :!:
