Yep yep. Commentators, Famoso Hernandez among them, impressed with P-Rod. A young 21 yrs old and he's only gonna get better. That knockdown looked questionable, but no doubt Jomar was pretty hurt.

    Round 6

Rodriguez is ducking and weaving in expertly, swooping up with jabs on the facade of Fajardo and hooking into his obliques as Fajardo lets big wide hooks fly. Fajardo is wrestling a bit when they close in, then rocketing away, regrouping, and racking his brain to come up with a way to land without paying for it. Fajardo is starting to shy away from his task now, backed up every time Rodriguez advances, even in a defensive posture and in a deep crouch, throwing nothing but light jabs at the body.

    10-9 Rodriguez

    59-54 Rodriguez

    Round 7

Rodriguez is strafing left and then smoothly changing directions mid-step and popping Fajardo in the teeth with a 1-2 as he is momentarily short-circuited and tricked into awkward foot placement trying to square up. Rodriguez is coming in and liberally pouring jabs on Fajardo, ignoring the brazen haymakers, leading to some more dueling-rhinoceros incidental contact. The ref is keeping it as clean as he can, issuing warnings but realizing the clashes are more a consequence of each man doing his thing as he knows how than bad faith per se. The low blows, on the other hand..

    10-9 Rodriguez

    69-63 Rodriguez

    Round 8

Rodriguez is holding onto Fajardo's left arm, wrenching it as Fajardo bowls in hard shots on the hips and stomach, a few straying down into the groin. Very dirty stuff in the center of the ring, from both. Rodriguez is loading up on right hands and jumping outside, blocking as Fajardo takes a turn wailing on him with overhand rights. Rodriguez spits his mouthpiece partially out while dancing away, then sucks it back in and covers up as Fajardo comes banging away. A few more clubbing rights by Fajardo get through Rodriguez's guard at least partially. Rodriguez answering back but giving ground.

10-9 Fajardo, made it an ugly brawl (or rather, an even uglier brawl)

    78-73 Rodriguez

    Round 9

Rodriguez is curling rights into Fajardo's kidneys as the Filipino comes rushing in low, sweeping Rodriguez back with his left arm. Rabbit punch by Rodriguez. Fajardo is slamming down with telegraphed right hands that actually go up over his own head on their ascent, followed by wide left hooks on the body - leaving an open lane in the center for Rodriguez to land whatever he wants pretty much wherever he pleases. Good action exchanges, Rodriguez throwing combos on the body and shoe-shining Fajardo's face while stepping in and out of the pocket and only taking some glancing blows from the increasingly wild - but still game - Fajardo.

    10-9 Rodriguez

    88-82 Rodriguez

Well, it was a fight. Not a pretty fight, but we saw a little bit of everything...save for a roundhouse kick to the jaw.

    Round 10

Rodriguez is light on his toes, jaunting away from Fajardo playfully, tossing light jabs at him, arms down and gum-shield dangling between his lips when on the outside. Fajardo is selling out with big torpedo rights on the body, diving inside and looking to scratch and claw his way into an inside fight, throwing both hands all over, from Rodriguez's temples down to his testicles - but Rodriguez's legs are too quick, never staying in one spot for long, getting off a couple of light chopping rights or jabs and escaping with only a couple of hooks banging into either bicep or either side of his midsection, impact dulled as he moves away.

10-9 Rodriguez - very "bikey" sort of finish, one might be tempted going Fajardo's way on aggression, but really he just didn't catch him enough and Rodriguez did point-score, however frustratingly minimalist his work may have been.

    98-91 Rodriguez

Max you could give Jomar three rounds.

The 2nd through 7th were all Chihuas.

Really none of those cards are bad. (the rounds I gave Wallopman both were close...and that last one is the sort that can yield divergent scoring too)

    Acceptable range.
