    Round 8

Findley is advancing, advancing, advancing...and ducking with his guard up, leaning forward. Rinse & repeat. Sanchez is circling with occasional kick-steps for boosts in speed, popping the right jab. Sanchez takes a few steps left and then dances to his right on twinkle-toes. Findley ducks inside, thumbs still at his temples, and gets ripped by a looping lead left while Sanchez is passing the ropes.

    10-9 Sanchez

    80-72 Sanchez

    Round 9

Findley is getting rocked by some of Sanchez's well-placed 1-2s despite swaying in the opposite direction and getting his ulnas in the way. Findley is made to dip at the knees a few times but manages to quickly gather his wits and keep moving, playing peekaboo with Sanchez from outside while bouncing up and down. Sanchez circles and keeps spamming the southpaw jab and cross without ever surrendering his length and risking any inside warfare.

    10-9 Sanchez

    90-81 Sanchez

    Round 10

Left hand feint by Sanchez, then a right hook, another fraudulent straight left, right hook again. Findley walks forward, turtle shell up. Sanchez wobbles him with a blocked 1-2, reverberating down to Findley's shoes. Long combos by Sanchez, left uppercuts and right hooks simply bashing through Findley's guard and rocking him. Findley taps at the body as Sanchez dances circles around him. Sanchez down, slip. Findley walks forward, taking a 1-2 on the guard and right hook on the ribcage as Sanchez orbits him. Sanchez goes to his left, backs out a few steps, tosses in a left between Findley's eyes, and left again. Lots of movement by Sanchez, very spry. Findley just watches him, riding it out, knowing that he will not be producing an upset this day.

    10-9 Sanchez

    100-90 Sanchez

No other way to score it. Findley was never in it.

This is the worst Findley has ever been dominated (with the possible exception of Dirrell, but I'm not sure this wasn't even more one-sided) - and look at the roster of high-caliber opponents to have shared the prize ring with Findley!

He put on a respectable effort, until the last couple of rounds when it was clearly becoming a fool's errand making him look deflated and just eager for it to be over with - but he was facing too many disadvantages.

Sanchez was much taller (at least 7" without looking...and, peeking at Boxrec...yeah, they're listed as being 8.5" apart), younger, with quicker hands and better footwork...and southpaw to boot. There was basically nothing Findley could be expected to do, except what he did in the first eight - march forward and hope to get a few licks on the body or land a big Hail Mary.

For Mazatlan, Sanchez is one tall dude... Who is next for this guy?
