López vs. Guerrero is live - so they might not be televising Kavaliauskas, period, even on delay, unless time allows.

Porkchop is giving up two inches of height and reach, but at 19yo has a five year "age advantage" over López.

    Round 1

López is hanging back and floating a jab to counter Guerrero's, pushing down on it to disarm his opponent. Guerrero adjusts, stepping in with a soaring right up top and then hooking the body with his left after reeling in the jab but keeping it at the same elevation where López had forced it. López is getting beaten at mid-range in the jabbing game, knocked back a few steps as his longer one whistles past Guerrero's head and the quick, short return shot fired his way connects on the chin. Guerrero is painting the bridge of López's nose with high-climbing jabs and then rolling an overhand right across the left ear.

    10-9 Guerrero

    Round 2

López is lobbing a 1-2 at Guerrero's face and then falling in with a hook on the hip and clattering the other side with a sloppy, wide right. Guerrero is keeping a high tight shell and boxing from behind it with jabs on an inclined plank from his throat up towards López's eyes. Clinch. Head clash. López falls in going for sweeping body shots and Guerrero hooks at him repeatedly, landing one rabbit punch and one clean legal blow on López's temple. López scoots back a few steps and then leans in with a push off the rear heel, looking to ambush Guerrero with a surprise uppercut in the ribs. It glances. López bows forward and touches Guerrero with a pair of weak straight body shots, then straightens up and lands a solid left hook on the jaw. They slug with López's back against the ropes and López gets in a couple more clean power shots. Good finish by him but Guerrero carried most of the round.

    10-9 Guerrero

    20-18 Guerrero

    Round 3

Guerrero lands a series of consecutive left hooks on the face and backs a hurt López up but can't put him down. López just absorbing punishment, maybe gambling to see if Guerrero will punch himself out. Long jab stuck out by López from range, turning his cheek away from Guerrero while standing upright with his spine drawn fully erect to maximize the safety afforded by height. Guerrero now pressing in, giving no quarter, looping heavy right hands around the guard, stunning López over and over. López now strategically clinching. Thumping left hook a few inches around from the liver from Guerrero. López goes down, but not a knockdown. He rolled his ankle while navigating along the ropes awkwardly. He's sitting on the canvas, unable to move the leg, clutching it with a glove. The referee, Jack Reiss, gives López time, and he finally goes to sit on a stool. Reiss calls time in, with 3 seconds having been left on the clock, and the round ends uneventfully.

    10-9 Guerrero

    30-27 Guerrero

    Round 4

Both men loading up on big hooks, both headhunting. Neither landing. Guerrero ropes out a straight right into the nose, but no steam on it. Guerrero pushing his punches, just looking to make some contact. Doing so but not hurting López. Pair of clapping left hooks above the ear by Guerrero. López is lashing down with his long arms over Guerrero's back as they press together, Guerrero bowing on his own and then further pushed down by López draping his arms over and leaning down on him. Both spearing pinball-launcher 1-2s at each other and slapping wide at the body. Sustained action, but sloppy. Lots of neck-grabbing and semi-clinching. Reiss not getting involved much, just letting them work it out themselves, as they're breaking their own clinches as soon as they start for the most part.

    10-9 Guerrero

    40-36 Guerrero

Jack Reiss is a pretty good ref, I think. I can't recall offhand if there have been any especially damning nights on his dossier, which means he's probably consistently solid. (though I could well be forgetting some egregious mishandling of a situation along the line somewhere)

Another teenager being showcased here. "King Ry" García is even younger than Porkchop Guerrero, just turned 18 a few weeks ago.
