That's the fastest Alan Herrera has ever been stopped, FWIW.

Ricardo Rodríguez vs. David Quijano II, yeah, was mildly interested but ended up watching/covering Félix instead just because he is more of a known & relevant quantity in the sport than either of them. (although he was in a mismatch)

Shame, that one just ended. Just flipped the channel over, watching the scorecard reading now. Commentators had it very close. Rodríguez takes a unanimous decision. All judges had it wide.

Felix 35-1-1. He's ready for a title bout Bob.

Yeah, and his only blemishes are the loss to Bryan Vázquez (nothing to be ashamed of, it was a competitive points loss in his first title shot) and one majority draw in a 4-rounder just eleven months into his pro career.

Most of the W column is padded but he does have some nice ones in there (Luis Cruz, Yaku Amidu, Cuervito Garcia, etc) and has thrashed most of his domestic stay-busy opposition in the appropriately dominant manner.

I should've said something earlier. Good scrap.

That's what DVR is for!

...but you should also check out Félix's nice, measured performance. Or at least the KO. The first knockdown was vicious.

This swing bout on Telemundo is low-skill and full of headlocks but I'm finding it oddly entertaining.

(Javier Garcia vs. Andre Byrd, 4 rounds @ welterweight)

Byrd seems like he wants to be Monty Meza Clay (same hairstyle, build, height, and style... minus Clay's work rate) but is unable to find the Puerto Rican with his cannonball rights, and is miserly with his offense, just going in spurts. Garcia attempting to figure him out is hilarious to watch. Every time he jabs, he gets blocked or has Byrd diving in and burrowing into his chest, and Garcia just looks over at the ref with this helpless expression, like "WTF do I do now?"

I'm not really sure who is "supposed" to win here. Both are based in Florida (though Garcia is from Gurabo, PR).

Byrd has much less experience, and not exactly a glittering record at 3-2-1, zero kayos - but at least that is technically a winning record, unlike Garcia's 8-12-1 (3).

    Another swing bout.

Joshua Pagán vs. ?? (last name Mills, this bout isn't on BoxRec), 4 rounds @ lightweight

Some bizarre injury to Mills (seemingly from an unintentional foul, but unclear what exactly happened) stretches round 2 out by several minutes. Pagán is getting the best of the action before and following the delay, just off a strong needling jab alone.

Pagán is WHIPPING this dude, literally, busting his organs up with snappy roundhouse & uppercut rights downstairs, all while peppering his face with stiff jabs.

Ah, found him (the victim) - 38 year old, 1-5 Tom Mills.
