He's acquitting himself very well for a 7/1 underdog...

Félix Jr. seems a bit surprised by the Pinoy's resiliency and stamina.

Sismundo is applying nonstop pressure and throwing bombs without tiring, liberally mixing in body work and turning everything over nicely.

The unofficial scorecard for Solo Boxeo has it 59-54 Félix but you could argue having it a draw...

Seen him over perform in Japan, very under rated and always a live under dog a bit like Adones Aguelo

Most of Sismundo's losses have been to world class fighters, or close to it. (Weng Haya, for instance, gave Orlando Salido hell twice...and Terdsak Jandaeng and Daud Yordan are both excellent for non-titlists, perhaps better than Billy Dib who did wear a belt for a while... and Jardon and Nakatani are beasts at domestic level in Mexico and Japan respectively...both tough national scenes)

Félix has given up on getting a stoppage altogether here, now getting on his bike and boxing on the backfoot, and still being forced to exchange despite his movement and long jab.

2nd, 3rd, 5th 7th, and 8th all could be seen for Mondo Harada.

Should be a heck of a finish..

Félix dancing around putting out light jabs and uppercuts meant to slow down Sismundo more than anything.

On the undercard, Egor Mekhontsev shut out Felipe Romero over eight. He scored two knockdowns, but Romero has been stopped by Oleksandr Usyk, Dmitry Bivol, David Benavidez, Krzysztof Głowacki, Mateusz Masternak, Alex Leapai, and even Rigoberto Alvarez...plus some club fighter named JJ McAllister. Not a good look for Mekhontsev, who last time also failed to stop another Bivol kayo victim (and chinny Brazilian) Jackson Junior.

96-94 to Sismundo, who got docked a point in the 6th for a late hit.

    Still, that makes it 95-94.

    Doubt he gets the nod.
