Yeah. Félix getting a mixed response from his own "home" crowd (six of his last nine bouts have been in So Cal, and there's a large Mexican contingent there). Some cheers and some boos at the decision.

 

To be fair, Sismundo fought his ass off. It wasn't like Félix looked bad or anything. He just probably deserved a narrow L here. It seemed like a combination of Sismundo being a bad style for him/having his number and just stunning him with how motivated and determined he was, maybe Félix looked past him.

 

Take away the chintzy point deduction and that would have been a split draw.

 

IB Funfact: Sismundo knocked out Yordan's brother Yohannes, then 8-0-2, back in 2009. Daud made haste to get in the ring with him just six weeks later to avenge his sibling's violent cherry-popping. :!:

He reminds me of Lee Evans (who played Tucker in There's Something About Mary) with a greatly enhanced Mongoloid quotient.
