I never have looked at Mikhaylenko's fight night weight. I wonder what he weighs. Guy is listed at 5' 9" and he's built solidly.

    Round 4

Díaz is placing his chin on García's shoulder like a chin-rest and trading in the phone-booth with him. Nonstop barrage of body hooks from Díaz. García is doubling and tripling his jab in vain, attempting to push Díaz off. Left upper-hooks and chopping rights by García falling in on Díaz. Looping right on the side of the head by Díaz, followed by a left hook on the other side, nearly pinching García's cranium between his fists, with how little spacing there is between connections. Díaz is sweeping fast hooks on the body and working straight rights on the face now. García is leaning in on him to slow him down and then bucking off and throwing a 1-2. Hook by García. Elbow thrust out by García while keeping his glove held awkwardly in against his own face to block. Díaz steps around the would-be impaling elbow and lands more body shots.

    10-9 Díaz

    40-36 Díaz

Baby Bull/Troyanovsky coming up, maybe? Wouldn't be a bad fight either. Hopefully, they don't throw him in with Crawford or Postol right away.

For Diaz' sake...I hope not, same goes for Mikhaylenko and Provodnikov, they all probably do a number on him at this point.

    Round 5

García is getting clanged into the ropes by heavy precipitation downstairs from Díaz with only brief interludes of Díaz pulling back to draw the bowstring for a quick-release lead right. Díaz is threshing at García's body, keeping him on the ropes for a long time, but can't put him down. García tossing just enough back not to invite the referee's curiosity, but getting beat down.

    10-9 Díaz

    Round 6

Díaz is opening more doors for himself with every salvo, concatenating his opportunities by knocking García's arms scattershot with hard body & head combos, and then immediately filling the gaps with more. García is rocked by a chopping right and left hook after one such parting of the sea with a bunch of insistent uppercuts. García manages to catch Díaz's attention with a nice left hook in an exchange, but it doesn't affect Díaz's work rate or aggressive disposition. García lands a 1-1-2 on the chin just before the bell and gives a nod and glove-touch of respect as Díaz stands and takes it without moving or blocking.

    10-9 Díaz

    60-54 Díaz

    Round 7

Díaz is throwing hooks at the body, pitching inside. García is wilting a bit. Díaz senses it. Long volley of hard uppercuts by Díaz, and García finds his guard dissolved with Díaz landing straight rights on his face. García looks badly hurt but hangs in there and keeps sticking his jab and circling with Díaz.

    10-9 Díaz

    70-63 Díaz

Every time it seems there is drama afoot to break the monotony - no. :yep

So either Díaz just can't finish worth a damn or García has incredible resiliency (and his record doesn't support the latter)

Laurence Cole is calling for a towel. Does he want García's corner to end it, because he's bored? :yep

edit: nope, just a wet spot on the mat. :verysad
