    Round 3

Leon lands a couple of right hands. They clinch up. Gonzalez starts going spastic with his right jab, just leaving it out there snapping out and in. Leon backs him up to the ropes by more or less just shoving him there with his forearm and then lands a couple of body shots. 1-2 by Leon. Gonzalez eats a jab and gets out of the way just in time to avoid an overhand right. Leon keeps dropping hard punches in the direction of Gonzalez's face and a few of them do make partial contact.

Leon bullied his way into winning that round, and could salvage a draw to preserve his zero if he keeps it up.

    29-28 Gonzalez

    Round 4

Leon comes forward with wild hooks and uppercuts, clashing with Gonzalez's safe and technical style out of the southpaw stance. Gonzalez reaches with his right jab and takes a while to find Leon's face, but finally does. Leon stays on the outside, trying to get Gonzalez to come forward but he doesn't. They clinch and Leon pushes off rather than wait for a break. Leon seems to be looking for a big shot to end it. He wades in with some more wild swinging and wears a soft counter jab before he is grabbed. They trade light fist-pokes from medium range. Gonzalez suddenly slaps with an uncharacteristically wild right hook. Leon loads up on a hard overhand right but misses, just in time for the bell.

    It's a draw!

One judge had it 40-36 for Leon, the other had the same for Gonzalez...and the third had 38-38 (which seems the most fair).
