Padilla springs forward with high right jabs and left hands at the head of the taller man. Lopez just leans back, tucking his arms and twisting his thin frame to either side. Lopez comes back slugging to the body and Padilla tries to turn with the shots, letting them slide across his lower back. Lopez pops him with a stiff jab, hurting him. Padilla runs, ducks, grabs, spoils. Lopez jabs at him from outside, getting ducked every time as Padilla is timing his drops when he sees Lopez about to throw. Right to the body by Lopez.

Round 2

Lopez is shredding Padilla with jabs and right hands, pushing him into a corner. Uppercuts by Lopez, thrown long from a defensive position with his right cocked under his chin as he stalks in. Padilla puts up his high right jab while running around, hugging the ropes. Padilla has his arms held out at full extension to impede Lopez's punches as he circles. Flush uppercut by Lopez, past the arms of Padilla. Flurry to the body by Padilla, jumping in. Lopez cracks him with another uppercut to the side of the jaw. Lopez pops left jabs out from down by his trunks. Lopez using that Philly shell but being aggressive with it.

Lopez is on the warpath! Left hooks and right hands! Padilla is on the backfoot, doing everything he can just to stay upright, nothing fired back. Lopez is overdoing it a bit, throwing shots erratically behind Padilla's head but forcing him back into the corner and thudding down on him when he covers up.
