Hard jabs from Lopez. Padilla gaining in confidence, probably from having hung around so long. Getting bold, moving in with lead left hands, circling close, popping straight flurries. Lopez has elected to box this round, circling and jabbing. Counter uppercut by Lopez knocks a Padilla lead left off its trajectory. Right hands by Lopez, pushing Padilla back across the ring.

Round 5

Lopez jabbing steadily, catching Padilla atop the head with one and knocking him back to sit on the middle rope for a moment. Big left hook to the body by Lopez. Padilla jumps down and grabs his waist. Right uppercut by Lopez, knocking Padilla's head back and forcing him to step away quickly to keep balance. BIG right hook by Padilla, taking a stand!! Lopez backs up, and lazily tosses an overhand right past a jab. Uppercuts by Lopez, forcing Padilla to the ropes and ending his little rally. Padilla circles left, then runs in behind upheld forearms to slam into Lopez and hold. Leaping left hook by Lopez putting Padilla back on the ropes. Chopping right hand to the back of the head as Padilla ducks. Padilla jumps out of a crouch with a left hand then runs by Lopez. 1-2 by Lopez. Padilla circles left and ducks.

50-45 Lopez

 

Round 6

Padilla keeps sitting back on invisible chairs, leaving his butt hanging out behind him for a moment and then pushing forward off his heels to flurry. All arm punches, but so are the shots Lopez is throwing back. It's a toe to toe battle of weaklings! These are some of the most tissue-soft shots I've ever seen two guys wipe each other's noses with. Both landing at a tremendous rate, but with no effect. Lopez grins as Padilla plants a perfect right hook. Lopez gets Padilla in a corner and grinds him down, jabs and rights to the face as Padilla blinks and tries to turn his head.

60-54 but almost gave Padilla the pity round, had he not been rag-dolled in the last minute.
