    Round 4

Robles is skipping to his left and sticking the jab in Herrera's face. A few light jabs by Herrera, missing as Robles winds him up into an endless twirl and lands to body and head.

    10-9 Robles

    Round 5

Robles is pouring on the body shots, keeping Herrera on the defensive and lifting him off his feet with a few uppercuts but unable to make much headway upstairs. (so to speak) Herrera is attempting to jab in on Robles but only getting his own head snapped back by Robles' jab, while his does absolutely nothing.

    Round 6

Robles keeps firing his jab into the stomach, then comes clapping in with an overhand right that results in a nasty head clash from which both men recoil. They each wince and move into a neutral corner. Horrible headbutt. Time in. Herrera is angry, stiffening his jab and trying to plunk it down on Robles' chin. Robles down, slip. Robles doubles his jab and hunkers down, looking for a big right hand to the body. Herrera backs up and jabs, then catches Robles rushing in with an overhand right, his arm getting hung up against Robles' left. Right hand by Herrera through an opening in Robles' guard. Nice jabs to the face by Herrera while sliding his feet to the left to keep Robles from getting squared up to him. Robles has a few jabs blocked and misses a right to the body. Herrera gets tickled with a jab and then dances back out of the way of the next. Big exchange at the bell, both missing.

    Herrera's best round yet.

    59-54 Robles

    Round 7

Robles is pushing in with his jab, then ducking outside. Herrera tries to find him with the jab while keeping his guard up responsibly between expeditions. Robles crouches in, jabs up, and tries a right to the body that just won't land for him. Herrera is stepping off, making Robles come to him, and catching him on the end of his jab. Double hook to the body by Herrera. The laces of Robles' glove are coming undone. Clinch. Robles taps the body. Time out. Robles' glove is fixed. Solid right hand by Herrera. Wild right by Robles misses. Quick hook by Herrera.

    10-9 Herrera

    68-64 Robles

    Round 8

Herrera is really taking over, throwing hard body shots. 1-2 over the top by Herrera. Robles is a sitting duck, tired and unable to pull the trigger (or find the target when he does). Herrera is energized and fresh despite a puffy eye and a few nicks, circling and putting in long shots to the body of Robles. Herrera starts to eke his way in, testing the waters coming forward and jabbing into Robles' face. He's spent so long moving backward it's a strange adjustment for him to be the lead man. He reverts to stepping outside and circling behind his jab. Robles is still no threat to him, just lunging slowly and missing, easily countered with jabs.

    10-9 Herrera

    77-74 Robles

    Round 9

They circle and trade jabs for half a minute until the referee interrupts to request that they check Robles out in the corner. Time in. Herrera sends bowling balls to the body with his right from outside. Robles tries to duck inside and work the body. Herrera is effectively keeping him out with the jab, and starting to light him up with combos. Just as Herrera is starting to land several unanswered blows, the referee interrupts to have the laces of Robles' glove fixed in the corner. Herrera sighs and shrugs his arms in frustration. Time in. Herrera hooks, barely ducked. Robles starts to kick his legs out to the side, getting a slight second wind, popping a jab into Herrera's face. It doesn't last long, and Herrera is soon landing to the body again while easily slipping Robles' slow arm punches. Time out called. Herrera drops his arms and throws his head back, exasperated. Every time he's doing well Robles has his glove worked on in the corner. Getting ridiculous. Time in. Herrera comes forward with an overhand, then ducks Robles' return blow. A minute left in a round that has lasted close to five with all the interruptions. Robles hops in and out, getting jabbed in the stomach and unable to land anything back on Herrera. Jabs by Herrera. Right hand hurled over the top by Robles, a haymaker, glancing.

    10-9 Herrera

    86-84 Robles
