Solo Boxeo: Odlanier Solis vs. Konstantin Airich RBR

Round 1

Airich jabs. Solis covers up and circles. Long right hand lead by Solis. Quick combo by Solis, hitting guard. They trade jabs, both falling short. Rights to the body by Solis, leaning forward. Airich circles slowly to the left, taking baby steps. Airich starts to cautiously bend over, thinking about letting his hands go but popped in the face with a quick left jab. Solis jabs the body and backs Airich up nearly to the ropes. Overhand right by Solis, caught on the left forearm. Again Solis leads with an overhand right, and again Airich checks it on his left arm. Solis walks him back with jabs, and Airich times a NICE 1-2 flush on Solis' jaw!!! Solis barely blinks at it. Solis keeps coming forward, casting out a fishing-line right hand and pumping some left jabs into Airich's guard.

10-9 Solis

Airich had the best single moment, but Solis slightly edged it on his greater number of jabs and body shots.

 

Round 2

Solis is diving in with right hands to the body, but pushing them rather than snapping them out. Airich stands his ground, avoids getting cornered, and then comes forward behind his jab. Solis now is on the ropes. Solis pulls straight back with his chin up in the air and gets tagged by a high right hand from Airich. Solis takes it well but gets his guard up. They trade jabs in the middle of the ring. Jab into the guard by Solis, trying to set up a hard right to the body but Airich steps out to the side. Combos to the body now by Solis coming forward. Airich backs up and raises his guard. Solis jabs him twice in the belly. Airich throws a hook and misses as Solis leans back. Long jabs by Airich from outside, just hitting Solis' gloves. BIG chopping right by Solis, but Airich was able to shrink back away from it and take most of it on the shoulder. Stiff jab by Solis while leaned away.

Round 3

Solis has Airich hurt with a quick chopping right!! Backing Airich into a corner!! Airich is trying to hold, but every time he reaches out to do so, Solis keeps hitting him!! Airich has the correct instincts to hold and survive, he just can't. Solis is punching faster than Airich can grab. Airich is forced to cover up and lean back against the ropes. Solis runs out of steam (or inclination) and backs off. Airich cautiously emerges from the ropes and jabs his way in toward the center of the ring where Solis awaits. Long right hand leads by Solis. Airich whips his own lead right into Solis' guard. Straight combos by Solis, flashing three quick shots at a time. Airich is tentative on the outside.
