Solo Boxeo: Odlanier Solis vs. Konstantin Airich RBR

Round 5

Airich jabs and moves forward, trying to press Solis into the ropes and lean on him to do some body work. Solis is able to squirm and shove past him to escape. Airich advances behind his jab, and Solis leans over to one side to peer up at him. Solis moves his head to slip jabs, with lazy lolling motions. A few counter jabs and hooks by Solis from his lean, but very lazy and wavy. Airich is steadily jabbing into the guard or top of the head of Solis and tossing some right hands across the gap. Solis is quickly getting his gloves up to block the rights, but is getting tickled by some jabs high on the head.

Round 6

Solis creeps in, picking his heels halfway up as though stuck in mud but never lifting his forefoot. It's as though he's thinking "Damn, I'm heavy...maybe I can just shuffle through the rest of this to spare my knees the strain..." Airich lands some jabs to the forehead, and backs Solis up. Ooh, combo from Airich. Jabs and uppercuts, most hitting guard but making some contact. Solis flashes out his own flurry to the guard to momentarily back Airich off. Airich circles left, giving Solis a wide berth and staring down at him. Airich walks into a flush left jab that snaps his head back, and Solis capitalizes with a big slapping overhand right to the widow's peak. Airich is trying to jab and cross to the body, ducking inside, but Solis is just chopping him back with right hands over the top. Lead right by Solis blocked as Airich keeps coming forward. Lead right by Airich blocked. Just trading lead rights now, neither moving.

Basically what happened in the second half of the 6th.

Airich would drop down and get a lick in here and there, but CHOP. That fox got chased right outta the hen coop.

 

Round 7

Solis is now pressing forward, lumbering after Airich. Jabs and probing lead rights by Airich are slipped with a dip of the shoulders and countered with quick left jabs or hooks. Solis is backing Airich all around the ring. Solis waves his gloves around each other, making Airich drop his eyes. Solis counters over the 1-2 with quick lefts and rights while leaning in either direction, hanging like yesterday's laundry.

Solis keeps hocking big loogies on his stool. It's terrible. They must have a microphone embedded in the turnbuckle padding in his corner, because the audio is picking it up clear as day and crackling when he snorts and spits.
