They're hyping up Chavez Jr. after the Avila victory interview, probably going to show some updates from his training camp for Martinez after the commercial break.

Time to kill before the main event.

 

Man, these commercials are so disturbing and upsetting. It's all these cute innocent little Mexican kids peering around darkened corners, into closets, under their beds, on edge and whispering to the camera, like they're on the lookout for monsters and warning you to be careful where you go, but there's nobody else around...

It's about child abuse, at the end they flash a website and hotline #. :-(

 

Yep, some pundit from Univision Deportes (Telefutura sister station) named Rafael Hernandez Brito is breaking down Martinez vs. Chavez.

It's pre-taped fooage, with Roach and Chavez Jr. sparring in the ring behind him.

He has a sit-down interview with JCC Jr.

 

Doubtful. :yep The co-feature already happened, and they're just killing time with filler material until the main event. I'm not seeing another 155 posts on the table for tonight.

Of course, I'm going to have to stretch myself very thin to space them out so they can land on the Sturm vs. Geale or Golovkin vs. Proksa card next Saturday. :think

Leyva looks at least twelve years older than his given age (29, same as me...)

Of course, Sanchez is a very baby-faced 21 in contrast..

 

Round 1

Sanchez jabs and circles right. The cagey southpaw veteran steps left with him, pawing out his own jab. Sanchez is staying outside, moving in either direction, bending his knees to drop down and get a different look at Leyva, extending his jab, and circling more. Leyva is waiting and watching. The crowd is restless, some booing and others building up into an encouraging roar. Sanchez gets a left jab past Leyva's right, then misses a cross as Leyva ducks. They touch gloves respectfully after a very tactical opener.

Round 2

Sanchez jabs and sidesteps, very cautious on the outside. Leyva mirrors his movements from the southpaw stance. Right hand, left hook by Sanchez stepping in. Leyva ducks and Sanchez's fists slide over his back. Leyva tries a slapping right hook up top, and a left hand while backing up. Neither man is landing more than one shot at a time with any crispness. Credit to the defense of both, and that they just aren't throwing much. The crowd isn't loving it, though.

I don't know if there's a tier above VIP. They probably never figured someone would be this much of a boxing (talk) junkie.
