    Pantoja is hanging in there, throwing left hooks to the body from outside and keeping his feet moving constantly. Lots of in and out and lateral movement, but it isn't enough. Morales is cutting the ring off and his combos are very crisp and accurate. Morales starts to jab him against the ropes and then lands a right uppercut to the body. Morales blocks a 1-2 and creeps his way inside, landing a flurry to the body. Pantoja throws a right hand but leaves his chin hanging and eats a pair of BOMBS from Morales. Morales continues to shell him throughout the round. Pantoja gets on his bike but can't keep away. NASTY, NASTY, HORRIBLE LEFT HOOK & RIGHT CROSS COMBO TO THE CHIN!!! Pantoja is invincible!! ****!!!

    The last round of boxing of the evening!! :|

    Morales quickly backs Pantoja to the ropes with sharp punches, using both hands to just hammer Pantoja with mostly flush shots to the face. Incredibly accuracy by Morales, and incredible durability by Pantoja. Clinch, and Pantoja spins away while shoving Morales off. Morales switches orthodox again and stalks his way inside. Morales does that SO SMOOTHLY. It took half of this fight for me to realize that he had been switching between orthodox and southpaw like ten times a round. :lol: Ooh, Pantoja again leaves himself open trying a home run right hand, and gets NAILED. Morales is just thrashing him with left hooks to the face and uppercuts to the body and under the chin. OH MY GOD!!! Where is Pantoja's corner? Bravery is one thing, but this ought to be stopped. This is a horrific beating. Pantoja slugs away with him in the last ten seconds!!!

    There was actually a KD of Escalante earlier in the round, that didn't get called by the ref. From that moment on, I knew he was in for a bad night. Obviously I wasn't expecting it to be over within the same round.

    The weird thing is that he'd come back from the clear first KD (ruled a slip) and responded very well, IMO knocking Perez down in turn.

    But...yeah...that defense + that inability to really take a well-placed shot...yikes...

    :D no, not that Morrrales like Michael Buffer likes to call him. With that nice paycheck you would expect someone to correct him morrrales basically translates into a sack in spanish. Poor Erik might end up literally looking like one come April 9. Maybe if we did a prayer to channel Sugar Nikis greatness into Morales might he stand a chance.
