    Honorio is throwing some absolutely mad shots at Mendez, slapping his back with his right and then just corking his left in wherever. Mendez is stepping back, covering up, and letting Honorio flurry a bit, then countering with bone-rattling jabs and hooks to the face. Honorio flops into Mendez and ties up. Mendez circles right, left arm held low. Mendez tilts back out of the way of some Honorio shots while whipping out a hook.

    I like Martin, and he's definitely bringing it, but I'm honestly a little worried for his health at this rate. :lol: Mendez is just landing on him so cleanly when he does throw.

    I'll tell you what......Even thought Mendez is winning these rounds in my book, he isn't active enough and could conceivably be losing some of the rounds on the judges cards due to Honorio's busy nature. Maybe.

    Long, sloppy clinch, arms akimbo and locked together. Uppercut by Mendez after the break. Honorio circles left and doubles a jab to the guard, then brings a right down on the body. Mendez blocks two more jabs and steps out. Mendez leaps away as Honorio charges in and flurries, back into a corner. Honorio slaps out with both hands and gets Mendez behind the ear with a hook. More slapping contact for Honorio. FLUSH RIGHT HAND COUNTER by Mendez, snapping his head back. Honorio can really take some punishment. Slapping shots over the top by Honorio, so very sloppy. Mendez walks him back with his guard up, not even punching. Honorio opens up and gets hooked in the teeth.
