    Honorio comes lunging in with jabs and rights. Mendez leans back and catches Honorio by clawing and pulling at his arms. Clinches. Yuck. Ref is splitting them every few seconds as Honorio flurries in missing and getting blocked and then held without Mendez even throwing anything. Back he comes, over and over. Finally Mendez opens up, ROCKING Honorio with a right hand. Spirited attack from Honorio, lefts and rights all over the place. Mendez threads in another flush right hand to the chin.

    Honorio comes overreaching with his right hands over the top and gets electrified by a straight right counter. Honorio just will not stop coming forward, no matter what Mendez hits him with. Patient shot selection, crisp accuracy, and huge power from Mendez but it doesn't phase Honorio. Lots of slaps to the body by Honorio leaning in. Mendez backs up and snaps his head up with a quick right uppercut.
