Some sort of long delay before the round starts, the ref lecturing both boxers. They get at it, and Honorio is slapping away, going to the body, doing everything that won him the tenth. Mendez's pants fall down. Time out. The ref is now yanking Argenis' trunks up and securing his groin protector. This is gay. The crowd is whistling flirtatiously. OK, enough nonsense. Time in. Honorio back to slapping away. Mendez backs up to the ropes and Honorio charges in on him. AGAIN, has a point deducted for using his head. Honorio doesn't like the call. Mendez is looking to counter with right hands but has lost some of his sharpness, missing with it as he steps back. They buckle gloves while both throwing from long range and wind up spinning around and BOTH falling down on their butts in opposite directions!! Crazy.

Honorio charges in and gets hooked in the head. Mendez has rediscovered his range and rhythm for countering. Honorio dives in, clinch. Mendez has that left arm low, twisting himself sideways to slip shots, BIG LEFT HOOK BY MENDEZ. Clinch. Honorio slaps his way in, noodling the body. Long clinch. Ref is mad at Honorio, still thinks he's billygoating. Taps to the body by Honorio in the hug. Chopping right hand counter by Mendez, bang on the nose as Honorio is trying to work the body with rapid light shots. Another warning for using the head to Honorio. Counter hook by Mendez. Honorio plants a jab and a right on him, as Mendez puts his chin down to soak up some of the impact on his upper chest.
