    Round 2

Prescott is jabbing in and knocking Figueroa back a few steps every time he connects. Uppercut to the body from outside by Prescott, exploiting his large advantage in dimensions. Figueroa tries to escape any which way he can, running around the ring and ducking down past his waist. High right jabs by Figueroa trying to blindside Prescott and get a clinch going. Clubbing shot by Prescott and Figueroa stumbles, glove sweeping against the canvas, should be a knockdown but not ruled!! Prescott keeps stalking and rocking Figueroa, who hightails it out of his path and then clambers in to try and hold behind a weak double right jab.

    20-16 Prescott

Wait, how many official knockdowns? :huh

It looked like one in the 2nd to me but I don't think the ref called it.

Two in the 1st, right? It's been a blur.

Commentators (Juanma Lopezand someone else) were spending quite a bit of time talking over footage of Prescott stepping on Figueroa's foot repetitively.

Figueroa's movement starting to give Prescott some trouble.

    Round 3

Prescott is stepping out to his left, lining up hard right hands. Figueroa is staying outside, taking only the very tip of Prescott's knuckles clipping against his jaw as he rolls back and tries to cross his arms in the way. Big wild right hook swung up and over by Figueroa on the way in, disguising an attempt to grab. Body shots leaning in by Figueroa, and another windmilled right hook. Figueroa may be trying to overwhelm Prescott with activity in the hopes that he can make him forget to throw if he beats him to the punch and keeps him on the defensive. IMO he's going to get himself brutally KTFO this way. As it is, Prescott is unable to find a perfect counter - or much of any counter - in the final minute of the third.

    30-25 Prescott

Yeah, that was all they showed for a replay from the 2nd, an extreme close-up of their feet.

I'm guessing that was just before Figueroa went down, explaining why no KD call? :think

From the close-up I didn't see him go down in that moment (thought it was round 2 footage); the woman was saying Prescott was smart to keep his lead foot outside, and tat from there he was seemingly purposefully stepping on his foot.

I don't remember right but I thought that second knockdown was also called in the first.

    Round 4

Prescott is throwing jabs from outside, peering down at Figueroa from a fluid guard, leaned slightly over, giving Figueroa too much respect. Uppercut to the body from outside by Prescott. Figueroa flurries to the body and claps over the top with a right hand to the back. Figueroa dances around and shifts his weight around from black shoe to white. Figueroa rushes in to clinch. Prescott shakes and jukes on the outside, and pops a few jabs.

    10-9 Prescott

    40-34 Prescott

WTF is Prescott waiting for?? What's up with this cute jabbing affair? Is his mission here only to log rounds?

He could have honestly ended this by now. Figueroa is barely fit to be licensed at this point.

So much ring rust, and he was never particularly skilled (or sturdy) to begin with.

Tighten your punches up Breidis, for your father's sake! What was that slip!

And the ref counted it as a knockdown, that's odd.

    Round 5

More jabs by Prescott, easily controlling the range and dictating the pace. OMG, ridiculously silly knockdown ruled against Prescott! :patsch He was throwing a punch and his own legs kicked out behind him, slipping on the Tecate logo. Figueroa happened to throw a blind right between his eyes while he was already falling. The ref began counting as he got up and Prescott just laughed incredulously. Not the least bit hurt. Figueroa dives in to hold after Prescott jabs him up and down a few times. The ref breaks them up and Prescott winds up another jab only to have Figueroa dive in again and wedge his head into his underarm. Figueroa ducks inside once more but gets spanked by a few left and right wrecking balls to the lower back and flanks by Prescott.
