Kind of a disappointing end to what turned out to be an interesting - and dare I say even pretty entertaining? - bout.

Flores wasn't totally out of it, although Mora had been in control for a few rounds.

Oh well. :conf He's probably too old to be taking as many shots as he did there at times, even from a non-hitter. No reason to begrudge the man his good health just for the sake of three more rounds that probably would have contributed to a points loss for him anyway (although maybe not...)

    Who speaks Spanish?

    What is Mora saying now?

His dialect is fast as hell. All I recognized was "Shibata".

Flores doesn't sound bitter. He's smiling at Claudia Trejo (although that could be just because she's wiggling some serious business suit cleavage in his face).

Nah, seriously - his tone is just that of a humble warrior who knows he was beaten on the night and is taking his hat off to the younger guy.

Oh ****, he choked up a bit at the end and got emotional...very nearly blubbering until Claudia laid a hand on his shoulder and gently cut him off to let him off the hook. Right before that he mentioned something about "Canelo Alvarez". :blood

Hugo "the Bull" Centeno is a scrawny wisp of a thing, but he's 9-0 with six knockouts.

Hector "the Fighting Chihuahua" Orozco looks straight out of central casting, with the appearance of a guy in his mid-twenties who's been a hardened convict since his mid teens. His record isn't anywhere near as intimidating. He's 4-8 with no knockouts, ever...and been stopped three times.

    Round 1

Orozco flashes his right jab out at the much taller Centeno, busy but not landing. Left crosses crash into Centeno's chest but don't bother him. Centeno is dancing around on the outside, very relaxed as he pops straight crisp left jabs at the short southpaw. HARD counter uppercut to the chin by Centeno. Orozco keeps flurrying forward, his body turned a bit to one side but not protecting him when Centeno lets his long counter uppercuts fly. Orozco is already cut in at least one area (by his right eye.)

    10-9 Centeno

    Round 2

Centeno is playing around, hopping to his left and popping out jabs and hooks. Now a right hand down the pipe, and a hill-climbing left hook from his own hip to Orozco's chin. Orozco is marching forward on the younger and rangier boxer, pressuring with double right jabs and spirited left crosses lunging in behind them...and missing everything. Centeno seems almost bored. Lead right by Centeno. He turns southpaw and throws a few right hooks, and gets blocked. Orozco tries to mount a counterattack and Centeno drops his hands and hops back out of the way. Orozco throws a drum roll to the body and then surprises Centeno by launching one left hand up high and clipping him on the chin backing up. Centeno is getting hit with some stupid shots, not taking his opponent seriously. Then again, Orzoco has NO knockouts to his credit.

    20-18 Centeno
