Round 1

Reyes is using a lot of movement, hopping around and bouncing his head and shoulders to either side. Chacon throws right jabs up from his hip and tries to corner him. Reyes throws a lead overhand right but is easily blocked by a simple raise of Chacon's right forearm. Neither has landed a very good punch throughout most of this round. Reyes is wasting a lot of energy and seems to be trying to figure out what style to use. Finally they open up just before the bell and slap each other with Chacon's back to the ropes.

 

Round 2

Reyes dances around outside, poking up his jab from a low lean and trying to dizzy Chacon with movement. Chacon is once again throwing next to nothing, just turning and watching from his hands-down southpaw stance. Reyes runs straight at him and windmills a bit before hopping back out, basically keeping Chacon guessing what he'll do next and leaving him frozen stiff. Now Chacon glides out to circle to the ropes as he takes a cuffing shot and Reyes charges in to hold and hit. Chacon complains until the ref separates them. Chacon just watches from across the ring again with his hands down.

Round 3

Now Chacon starts a little busier, slapping out at the sides of Reyes' head. Chacon now does what Reyes did to him the previous round, holding and fluttering one glove in his face until the referee makes him stop. Now Reyes gets Chacon in the corner and suddenly shows some pop with some left and right overhands! Chacon shoots back on him but took the worst of it there, involuntarily blinking as he got hit and leaning back into the corner. Reyes is hopping in straight forward lines now, throwing wild shots that Chacon is only barely able to deflect with that elevator-riding right forearm. Chacon pressures without actually punching, just jogging at Reyes with his right hand at his hip.

Round 4

Reyes hops in and forks out some wild shots, missing. Chacon pouts defiantly and rapidly shakes his head after Reyes gets closer and clips him a bit. Reyes doesn't seem to care how nonplussed Chacon is and just keeps rushing him and swarming him with wild shots that knock him back into the corner. The southpaw is yet to get off a solid punch in the fourth. Right hook is ducked by Reyes while ducking back and recovering from an abandoned Muay Thai clinch attempt. Chacon steps forward and tries a 1-2 but has a HARD Reyes right hand counter fly past his jab and crunch his nose before his left cross has even begun down its path. Another good right by Reyes.
