Solo Boxeo Tecate: Vicente Escobedo vs. Walter Estrada RBR

Round 6

Escobedo jabs up high and Estrada ignores it, throwing a left uppercut to the body. Escobedo is just not landing much anymore, throwing a lot of empty arm punches all over the place. Estrada actually looks a bit more composed now, and is working behind his right jab darting in and out. Estrada really commits to the left uppercut, throwing it twice from far outside. Estrada backs Escobedo up with his jab. Escobedo is blocking but getting outworked. Estrada with a hard 1-2 to the body. Estrada keeps flicking the jab in Escobedo's face to distract him, trying to get another chance to dig the left down low. Estrada takes a pair of crazy big swings with both arms, spinning himself completely around.

I think Escobedo might have just lost two rounds in a row...:blood

Round 7

Escobedo is acting..weird. He puts his fists together, against his forehead but with his elbows sticking out (forming a triangle with his arms). His footwork is terrible as he sort of rocks from heel to toe and teeter-totters his way inside. He does not look in his best form at all. AS I SAY THAT, HE KNOCKS ESTRADA DOWN WITH A PERFECT RIGHT CROSS!! Estrada looks dazed as he tries to get up but manages to get back in it. Escobedo just harangues him with pendulum punches and stuns him again. Estrada holds on. Escobedo now straightens out his punches and takes surer steps, keeping squared up on Estrada and throwing some hard right hands. Estrada has his legs back and jabs Escobedo off of him, then digs a left to the body. Escobedo loads up a big right hand but Estrada leaps back out of the way.

Round 8

Estrada meets Escobedo at the Tecate logo and asserts his right jab. Escobedo just hangs back for a bit and then comes soaring in with a 1-2. Clash of heads, cut (on Escobedo). Tony Krebs has a doctor take a looksee. Despite red streaks like a ****ing Pollock all the way down his chest, Escobedo is ruled okey-dokey (medical term). Estrada is targeting the cut, the cheeky *******...looping some lefts around to catch Escobedo on the brow. Escobedo is increasing his urgency now, coming forward but walks facefirst into a hard combo by Estrada before tightening his guard (and getting rocked back). They each throw a wide 1-2 at the same time and nearly smash faces again coming together awkwardly. Estrada presses forward and catches Escobedo with some sickle shots. Estrada works the left uppercut inside after a jab is blocked.
