Solo has the next 12 months to step it up or i'm not interested in what he does after that.

IMO he needs no less than 4 fights in 2009

Solomon has been pathetic in his selection of opposition. He's been even more woeful than Mundine.

Though the difference is he hasnt somehow been handed world titles twice..

And Sol doesnt get on the T.V etc claiming to be the best..

True. But his choice in opposition has been very poor. I know it's harder for him to find top level opposition than it is for Mundine, but if Hopoate's name can get mentioned in a title shot (even if it is only the WBF or whatever) then theres no reason why Haumono cant do the same seeing how he's much more talented and been in the game for longer.

Spot on Pecks. Haumono has more speed and ability than Hoppa but has been woefully handled.I agree with the poster who said he needs at least 4 fights in 2009, gradually stepping it up. I think most people have a lot of respect for Hoppas attitude and willingness to test himself. If Solo had the same who knows what he might do.

Funny (or sad, depending on how you look at it) that there's still people out there that believe the crap rolled out by "The Daily Bellylaugh".

Choc and Sol have been and will be mates for life but their boxing careers are about to take different paths and Choc won't be able to dictate who is on his undercard when he fights overseas.

    Simple as that.
