Ok i'm sure i'm not only guy that watches a fighter and then after or during thinks of a strategy to beat them. Looking at weaknesses and the strengths and how you'd teach a fighter to beat these guys.

You sometimes figure out a guys style and feel fully that you could lead a fighter to victory with your expertise but then there's that one or two fighters you just sit there and think 'i really dunno how a fighter can break this guy down'.

So what fighters from past or present have you found the hardest puzzle to solve?

Andre Ward is a extremely difficult fighter because of his chameleon ways. He's got a good all round game and even when analyzing him before Froch fight i found myself looking for the most minor weaknesses and aspects of his game. Tremendous credit to the kid for him developing a all round game.

Look forward to reading this thread, might even add another in coming day.

I hate the man but Floyd Maywether, He is so defensively sound its hard to fathom how to beat him. Out and out pressure dosnt work, I don't think speed is the key either, I suppose if anything maybe another defensive counter puncher could possibly out point him in an extremely dull fight but other than that Im stuck?

****ing hell, look who's been resurrected, its the captain.

Anyway on topic, I'd have to agree, Prime Mayweather looks a very tough task for anyone to figure out.

Jung Koo Chang. Only looked vulnerable when he didn't train properly or was past his physical best.

    Nonito Donaire.

I think he's got very few weaknesses to his game, and it'd take a damn good performance from an exceptional fighter to exploit them to the full. I made this post before about why I think Rigondeaux would have the best chance of anyone out there to beat him:

But even still I can't really see him defeating Donaire, merely pushing him close but ultimitely falling short. His blend of skill, athleticism, and pure size(which may be nullified a tad with his continual rise through the weights) makes him a near-impossible puzzle to solve for today's fighters in my opinon, and it's not like the talent pool is sparse at bantam/super bantam, there's an abundance of talented dudes down there.

I don't think I deserve to be captain after my shameful walk out on the squad, mind you John Terrys done worse?

I don't mind doing it to be honest mate. I'll just make sure to give you a couple of easy warm up fights. Then you'll be the one with the Japanese Middleweight Title fight next time round

 That's ok, it would give me a good excuse to get up to date with Japanese boxing, which from what I hear is very good.
