My brother has his 2nd fight coming up and this time hes dealing with alot of anxiety and nervousness.. I know that this is obviously very common and human for one to experience before a fight but its bugging me and him.. Does anybody have some suggestions or advice ...? thanks in advance.. and dont forget to watch Danny Garcia tonight on ESPN2.

Just tell him to try to loosen up a bit and have fun by listening to his fav music maybe while going for a brief jog. That will alway help me before any competition. Was he this nervous for his first fight?

Tyson almost bolted from his first match. The real answer is if he settles down once he gets in the ring.

It should be, but maybe he's feeling the pressure of having to do it again. I'm more nervous for a member of my camp than myself, but I'm still amateur so maybe its different.

If you don't have a little bit of nervousness there is a problem. However, the only way to gain comfort in the ring is to be in the ring. Spar, spar, spar!

It is usually a subconscious fear of the unknown that inspires that pre-fight anxiety in fighters.
