Obviously short of paying for records of the accounts or finding them online somewhere which is unlikely, there isn't a great deal you can learn about the state of their finances, other than that they seem ****ed.

I wouldn't like to be on the creditor's list, that's for sure.

 

A an example would be the 'wrestling channel'. That wasnt even subscription based but still couldnt pull in enough viewers to get the ad revenue needed. Its not like the WWE isnt watched by plenty of people on Sky Sports but those same numbers didnt tune into the product that the wrestling channel were showing even though it was free.

Fwank seems to think that if 230,000 people can tune into a Khan fight at 4am then a big chunk of those will put up £10 a month to watch more boxing but it really doesnt work like that. The majority of people that watch boxing on Sky watch it as an add on to all the other sports Sky gives them. Its absurd to think this people will just add £10 to there bill all to watch some fighters that they have never heard of or some low quality cards from the UK. Its not going to happen!!

I would likt to see sky covering boxing more if it folds for this guy. Get it more in the main stream they do far better build up, coverage the lot. A thought hype around burns katsidis was terrible. sky know the score they can get people who wudnt normally watch boxing tempted with their build up etc look at the appleby walsh fight a think youll agrree if u watch it was a ******* if that was on sky and a few non boxin fans watched it then they be a chance they wud tune in again to more boxing for sure. half ma pals dont even know that bn is a channel on sky. A know hee haw aboot boxin but a know this channel is a hinderrance to his fighters
