    Imaginary knockdowns aren't new.

Argentinians have been swearing for generations now that Bonavena dropped Ali in the 9th. :deal

All the crackheads in Lowell (just thirty miles from me :err) remain steadfast that Eklund was robbed of a KD over SRL.

Oh yeah, Pulev represented Bulgaria with such honor!. Knocked down in first round and stood on one foot with clown face only to get immediately knocked down again :patsch Knocked down in third round sprawled half way across the ring. Tried to convince ref Tony Weeks it was a push  Notice how the eyes rolled to the back of his head as he's going down each time  Then came the 5th round where one of the most devastating left hooks I've seen in decades seperated Pulev's brain from depriving him of what should have a been an excellent view of the ceiling. His face looked like a jigsaw puzzle with a couple of pieces gone. But he's bad, bad Pulev down, baddest man in a Bulgarian town. Badder than an old King Kong, fighting like a junk yard dog...

Just another Wladimir Klitschko victim thrown into the loser ash pile of obscurity.

I liked the atmosphere but those bulgars were pretty disrespectful booing the Ukrainian anthem and Wlad post fight.

Yeah, it could just be that expectations are high for Pulev with so many of victims the last few years being JTFD and even JTFO.

The mere fact that he landed a flush jab on Klitschko in the 1st is probably enough to leads many Bulgarians to believe he "floored" the champ. After all, Pulev's jab may as well be called Mjolnir. Or whatever the equivalent of Mjolnir in Bulgarian mythology is..

    Jim Croce!:D

Perhaps you could have worked in the line where Pulev starts everything by bothering Wlad's wife.

Were they ethnic Bulgars or Gypos? They did not look Romani but who knows in this day and age.

What were they chimping out over? Mad because they filmed the opening scene of Borat in Rumania instead.
