Some disgusting UFC fights last night

The stench from Danas sweaty groin was the most disgusting part of last night. Damn near blew my telly up

 

I agree that the co and main event were hard for me to watch as a fan. No issue with combat, I live for it, but I really really wish Nog and Lyoto were not so brave and tapped. I have no love for watching a mans should break or a man fall to the floor in a heap as if he was dead.

 

Actually, ITV showed one more fight after G Man and left the sport for 10 years.

 

Because they lost a bidding war with Sky. Not by choice.

the period from mir getting hurt up to nogs arm being broke was one of the best things i have ever seen in mma, not because i hate nog (i dont), not because i like mir (i dont), it was sweet and if you found it disgusting then mma aint for you

 

I thought ITV pulled the plug on boxing after Benn-McClellan and Hamed annihilating Siego Liendo a week later?

 

I love MMA, but I also found both things a bit disturbing. I don't know what the solution is or whether one should even be sought, but this level of brutality is most definitely going to keep the UFC from ever gaining the mainstream status it wants so badly.

 

Tap. Not a coincidence that it was two Brazilians on the wrong end of those subs. They could/should have tapped and all would have been well.

 

I have my own opinion on Mir, but you're probably right overall. Guys should be urged to tap if they can't escape. This is making our sport look bad.

 

Well the fact is Mir has broken two limbs in his career BUT neither guy tapped. He shouldn't be so ****ing happy about doing it but I think he is getting unfair critisism. If they had tapped and then he had cranked it fair enough, but you play to the whistle.
