    Add You Own....

    - Only 4 people have seen the final bell ring against cotto in his past 16 fights (clottey, mosley, malignaggi, ndou) ... i dont see pacman be able to survive 12 rounds with cotto

    - Cotto usually Grinds down smaller fighters than him

    - Cotto is usually shaken by smaller fighters as well... is it because of weight (happened more at lower weights) or a shaky chin?

    - I Think In Regards to the outcome of this fight... the hatton fight is very misleading

    - The Cotto that beat Mosely would murder pac.

    - Cotto hasn't had the same mennacing rambunctiousness since the nineth round of the Mosely fight. Since then (with the Exception of Jennings) he's been fighting men who are more physically imposing then he is. Is that part of his game gone forever or is it waiting to come out and pllay once more?

    - Cotto nutralizes speed by applying pressure, while keeping a high gaurd and counter punching/punching when his opponent tries to move away.

    - Cotto's energy level didn't look very good against Clottey.

    - Cotto is more afraid of the right Hook then the straight left. Cause he can see that punch coming and figures he can weather it.

-Paulie's movement and speed gave Cotto some trouble in their fight. Imagine Pac's speed and movement coupled with his power.

-Both have a keen ability at timing their opponents. Both fighters can adapt pretty well.

-Pac's body/chin durability is something to be tested.

Cotto does brake down fighters, especially smaller ones, but when Malignaggi decided not attempt to brawl at all, he showed that by staying in the middle of the ring, boxing in & out + moving around the ring and staying away from the ropes, it was not only possible to last 12 rounds being a smaller man, but actually winning rounds doing so.

Now I know that Malignaggi was capable doing those things because of his very decent jab and Pac does not have a jab like that...I just believe what's important is to box in & out while staying away from the ropes. Pacquiao can certainly do that better than the Magic man + he's got more weapons to do it and is easily a notch above Malignaggi talent wise...

I really see Pacman cutting Cotto early and it will be a big factor as the fight goes on. I don't think Pac can KO Cotto but a TKO on cuts later in the fight is very possisble..

i dont understand why people mention this cut **** like the way they do...... cotto will not get cut & if he does we all know he will fight through it.. everyone always wants to bet on some random circumstance...

Of course Cotto will fight through, he's a warrior but sometimes cuts are the cause of a TKO and I just happen to see that being the result later in the fight, that's all. Cotto is a guy that has been cut on many occasions in the past and so his skin is prone to it...

When you face a high work rate guy like Pac that's quite precise on top of that, then the possibility of being cut are raised quite a bit...

It's only an opinion but I truly see Cotto's face looking like Diaz's when Pac fought him...

    We will see !

its just really far fetched... i doubt cotto will get all cut up..... if anything happens hell get knocked out early

Miguel Cotto's speed will likely buy him some time early. Yes, Miguel Cotto will use his speed on Manny Pacquiao. If Shane Mosley can remark about "the surprising speed" of Cotto, I figure Manny will be surprised as well.

I'm sticking with Pac by TKO late in the fight but it wouldn't surprise me if Cotto got off to a BIG lead to start it off.

I agree, people should not use the Hatton fight to predict this one.Ricky was plain awful and did everything wrong.Manny was great that night and looked perfect, but tonight will be a much harder fight,Cotto wants it big time and i cant see him just walking in and hoping for the best like Ricky did.Im picking Cotto to win and by stoppage.

Good points. Althought I don't see Pac running from the fight much. Talentwise, I think he is more than just a notch, although I know what you meant. As for the cutting issue, It's not something you can base pre-fight analysis on unless it is something that a guy has a serious predisposition to and Cotto doesnt. His cut vs Clottey was from a butt, not leather. Obviously it could happen, but it can always happen. It would be seriously disappointing to have the fight affected in any way by a cut.
