I said in another similar thread that people like RS are desperate for Khan to get knocked out. They want to see his "china chin" get shattered, yet everyone knows he has issues taking a punch so where is the respect for him facing a huge puncher? They all cry that he's not fought any puncher recently, yet instead of saying "fair play" they are saying how they can't wait see him get knocked out. It's pathetic.

One of these fighters are gonna get hurt badly, entertaining us. They deserve respect.

He does'nt have a glass jaw at all!! He fights at cruiser weight and leaves his chin exposed for a big puncher to whack.

Mistakes like this kept him a european level fighter in my opinion. Top guy though.

Do you even watch Boxing? Tyson wasn't knocked cold 3 of his last 4 fights.:lol::rofl:rofl:patsch:patsch

Lewis sparked him but he essentially quit against Williams and McBride. He was not knocked cold.:lol:

You get stern critics, but these guys are just overly distasteful detractors. The thought of a Haye or a Khan lying in a pool of blood convulsing, is a pleasant experience for them. Could do without these sort of idiots on here. ESB’s class is depressingly low at times. I bet other sports forums ain’t got **** on us in this department.

enzo macronelli has a disgracefull glass jaw - that is fact, it cannot be denied:deal

however, when it comes to repulsive glass jaws, amir khan is in a league all of his own. the definition of 'glass jaw' was khans revolting show versus prescott. thats as bad as if gets, it makes me feel physically ill when i watch khans spaghetti legs in that fight :dead:dead:dead

the only man who can come close to khan is roy jones junior :deal

Seeing as your opinions are worth about the same as my ****, then yeah, i guess you been wasting your time.

If you really derive pleasure from this bull**** joke, then you've obviously not got a lot going for you.

Enzo went in at his own risk for our entertainment, therefore some people take it more lightly than others. Either way he shouldn't have been fighting with his previous ko's.

Nobody wants anybody hurt, and in fact, glass jawed fighters like Khan and Maccarinelli actually are LESS likely to get hurt because they don't have the beards to absorb a sustained beating.

The fact is, some fighters DO have glass jaws, and boxing fans have to accept this. And Maccarinelli without a DOUBT is one of them. I find it sad that boxing fans are SO insecure about their heros' flaws being criticized that they have attack those who dare to point it out. Maccarinelli has a glass jaw - accept it!

I don't get where these idiots are claiming we have ever wanted to see a fighter hurt. :huh

Like you said, many of them just can't handle the fact that their favorite fighter does not have a Chin.

Exactly. Fanboys are always gonna cry when chin analysts point out that their faves have glass jaws. :yep

BTW, I think that while Maccarinelli's chin is abysmal, and he deservedly should be #1 on the October ratings, for sheer shatter-ability, you really can't outdo Kahn.

For a start Enzo got up from a huge punch and the KO was a follow up. Secondly he was not KO'd against Lebedev and he took a lot of big shots before being stopped and Lebedev has 16 KOs in 21 wins, so clearly he is not some powder puff puncher.

Likewise he was not KOd cold against Afolabi. So in fact he was KOd cold in one of those three fights and that was after getting up from a big shot that caught him flush.

Yes he has a shaky chin, but as everyone else has said, this whole thing is pathetic and you don't even bother to check the facts before talking rubbish about being KOd cold etc.

Like people saying Haye was starched by Thompson when he was stopped on his feet.

What's the point of this glass jaw crusade anyway?

I mean, ok, we have a bunch of fighters out there who have weak chins. it happens, you'll always have boxers who have weak chins, some won't make it to the top because of this, some will make it because they have the skill to overcome this handicap. We all know who these fighters are. Are they a joke because of this? Are they a joke if they somehow make it to the top tier of fighters despite their weak chins?

It's hardly a topic for intelligent discussions. Some fighters have weak chins, it's fairly easy to spot them... what else is there about it to talk about?

Is it an attempt to expose these fighters? Again, to what end? We know they have weak chins, what's there to expose?

Is it done to make fun of them? The fact that they're inside the ring fighting in a sport where people have died and we're just watching them means we should respect them for that, regardless of how we hate them outside the ring or how little we think of their skill.
