    Oscar/Floyd : 2.4 millions sold

    *******s " it's all Oscar's "

    *****s " it's Oscar and Floyd , they are both superstars "

Floyd/Hatton :Only 950,000 sold...( Hatton was undefeated and sold almost same number in UK ) What happened to Floyd's superstar status?

    Floyd/Marquez : 1,050,000 sold... ( Marquez was #3 p4p and they have to re-scheduled the fight )

Floyd/Shane : 1,400,000 sold...Wow!!! 400,000 more than the previous. Where did it come from?

Floyd/Ortiz : 1,250,000 sold...It took GBP and Floyd more than a month to release the ( not official ) numbers.:think What happened to Floyd's superstar status again ?

Floy/Cotto : 1,500,000 sold...Cotto sold over 600,000 ppv from his previous fight and Canelo/Shane as the co-main event.

Only 100,000 better than the Floyd/Shane fight ? Wow!!!

The truth is, Floyd is not the only one who's selling the fight.

And boxing fans buy his fight to see him lose not because he's an exciting boxer.

    Don't believe the hype.:hi:

Both Mayweather and Pacquiao numbers are drastically decreasing with fans being agitated over the process, Mayweather has kept respectable numbers by stacking his under cards, Manny on the other hand choose to keep his numbers under wraps

its all mayweather, you take him out of all those fights and the numbers would be alot less by the millions in ppv and thousands in sales.thats why odh really wanted the rematch.

Interesting points. It can be argued Pacquiao fought many of the same guys with reduced numbers. These calculations can be debated and questioned for a long time and it's upto the teams to except them and make a fight on an agreed split. It's difficult when both are PPV stars and is why many say 50-50 is fair especially as Floyd is putting in other demands

It's not the fighter it's the fight, in all cases. The number will tell you that. Oscar vs may was huge but that's 2 superstars, the numbers show again when you look at his fight with Ortiz in comparison to cotto, the cotto fight was bigger, cotto has a bigger fan base hence the high numbers. It takes 2 fighters to make the numbers big, may is a popular guy for sure and the numbers reflect that also, but he needs tough, interesting fights to get those numbers up there.

Lol people pay to see him lose, i agree with that. Whatever the reason is though, it still a PPV purchase at the end of the day hes getting paid for.. 43-0, a lot of disappointed people.

The purses can be tied in to this. Look at the purses and what they make.

    Floyd made $32,000,000 for Cotto.

    Floyd made $25,000,000 for Mosley.

If it was Canelo then he would be getting the $25,000,000 purse and Floyd would be getting $1,800,000 and the $1,000,000.

*******s in full damage control! LMFAO.
