attention all. this came from inside the Hayemaker camp.

K2 Promotions wanted a 2 fight option on Haye, which stated he would have to vacate the belt if he had a mandatory (Povetkin would have to happen in 2009) to take those fights. Haye agreed on the premise that those fights were a rematch with Wlad and a fight with Vitali, but K2 wanted to be able to put Haye in with anyone that is ranked by one of the 4 belts. Also Haye wanted the money to be 50-50 in the further 2 fights with Vitali or Wlad, and at least 1 of those to be held in the UK, but K2 said no to this and would only pay Haye a small percentage more for the 2 additional fights, even if they were agaisnt non Klitsckos and for the world titles.

Basically K2 would be able to promote Haye for two fights, force him to vacate the titles, not fight in his home country, and fight agaisnt guys like Ray Austin, Hasim Rahman, Tony Thompson and so on.
    no wonder haye said no.

Haye only wants to fight the best, and not get ripped off, and be allowed at least1 fight in the UK.

If Haye would be reasonable then he would do what K2 demands.

There are boxers who WOULD PAY for a fight against both Klitschkos. Haye is in no position to demand ANYTHING.

so its reasonable for him to possibly beat the two brothers and have to vacate the belts because of contractual obligations?

i dont think you understand the meaning of the word reasonable..

    1. Capable of reasoning; rational: a reasonable person.
    2. Governed by or being in accordance with reason or sound thinking: a reasonable solution to the problem.
    3. Being within the bounds of common sense: arrive home at a reasonable hour.
    4. Not excessive or extreme; fair: reasonable prices.

lets bear in mind that this info might not be 100% accurate so we should save our judgements until its confirmed.

who am i to believe. news reports and the fighters involved who state it's 2 rematches (1 against each brother) OR a poster on an internet forum who is obviously bias, which can be seen in the choice of avatar he sports.... hmmm tough one! but i think i'll take the offical info over a anonymous poster

I think we all need to keep in mind that this version of events is coming from the HAYE camp. I'm sure the Klitschko camp might have a very different version of events.

Well, it's coming from the Haye camp, so it might be true or not, it is what it is, an inside rumor.

But the thing is: I don't believe that the Klitschkos would want Haye to vacate the titles or not let him fight in the UK, why the hell would anyone want that?

And if the Klitschkos GUARANTEE another two fights, most likely vs. Wlad and/or vs. Vitali Klitschko, without Haye has to chase it, what the f* is he waiting for?

If you are offered multiple fights by the division's two money machines, you are a fool if you don't take it. And with K2, very serious money is involved.

I'll save my judgment for after I hear all the facts, but from what I hear so far it sounds like Wlad is ducking Haye.
