Well your book is wrong. A past it, old Johnson went 12 rounds with Bute. How would Robin Reid fare against Bute? A past it, old George Foreman won a world title, how would Ali have done in that same year?

Reid and johnson would of beat both of these, groves and harrison in there primes. Reid would of beat johnson in there primes.
Both well past , both**** fights for each man, reid made it tough for a few rounds so will johnson but he should last longer, wouldnt suprise me if groves stops him.
All they are are good names on a record

What for? For calling Groves-Johnson a bull**** fight? Look at Griffs vids, Groves & Haye are almost battling to see who can give Glencoffe the biggest compliment, & when those two smugsters give anyone but themselves credit, you know theres something fishy going on.

The fight stinks just as much as Anderson beating Reid, & I stick by my opinion, no matter what people try to label me as. For a troll Im not doing a good job, cos Im saying Andersons win really means nothing, apart from finally getting his career back on track. & you know me, I dont do negative posts on scottish fighters where possible:D

Just speaking my mind my good man, like I have always have done here, & always will do. & it pisses me off that Groves is going to get bigged up here for beating Johnson for all the reasons I have already stated earlier on the thread.

However, as it seems to be hurting so many peoples feelings I will now bow out of the thread, knowing my point is made.

cheers for the link bigped my good man, thoroughly enjoyed watching that again, forgot how dramatic a final it was! Scoring was terrible though, & it was nice to hear Richie Woodhall before he decided to be a **** to scottish fighters!

    Right, as promised, Im out:D

Reid was far more of a soft touch than Glen no matter how you spin it, Dunky. Reid is done at domestic level, Glen can probably still go rounds at world class even if he's not a threat. I don't think he can pull the trigger anymore, and yeah, he's virtually just a name at this point without any real meaning but Reid is beyond shot, can't take a punch and was basically a corpse dug up even at that level.

Reid v Glen prime for prime, now thats interesting.

Reid is probably underrated, if he was fighting today he'd be giving the super six lot a serious run for their money. He could seriously trouble guys like Abraham and Kessler that move about in straight lines. As we even saw hints of against Anderson he can be tricky to get to, punches very hard (Dodson even claimed he hit harder than Froch), had speed, could take a good punch. His main weakness was his **** work-rate at times.

Glen would put the pressure on him all night, end of the day I think Reid would slightly outsmart him and do the classier, more impressive work, in a way it helps that he'd be forced to work as we saw in the Calzaghe fight, when he has time to think he has a tendency to get too tactical about things and fight pedestrian.

Johnson is shot at World Level
Reid is shot at domestic level

    Groves fights Johnson
    Anderson fights Reid

Which still suggests that Groves is operating at a level above Anderson
