I know people don't always realise this but it is surprisingly hard to keep a winning streak for several months let alone an entire year.

No one is immuned to this. St Pierre recently lost against a guy he should've been able to defeat (Serra). Granted , he won the rematch , but he still lost their first fight even though St Pierre is a more complete & versatile fighter. It happened to St Pierre and the guy is a P4P fighter. That's how ****ing hard it is to keep a clean record in this sport.

Do we even need to mention the likes of Arlovski , Anderson Silva , Couture , Penn , Gomi ? It happened to everyone...

Fedor is a ****ing rare case man. Another one who's an exception is probably Rodrigo Nogueira.

Nogueira has lost legitimately 3 times in his career.

Yeah with the variety of styles I could see why not many have an 0. I think its good competitive fighting where at some point you have to beat very good fighters to become a champ. Unlike some titles in boxing where you can get a title easier imo.

Fedor has a loss against him though, some guy smashed his head with a right hook and sent him spinning out of the ring. :D
I seen his loss on you tube it was terrible how that counts as a loss against him. I thought the elbow against him was illegal?

It was. It was a bracket tournament and he couldn't continue because cut was bad. So they let the other guy fight but for some reason they had to assign him a W and Fedor an L.

Ah right. I hope Fedor gets some of these UFC fighters soon before he passes his peak. I would hate to see him lose to a lesser fighter in a few years and the UFC diehards telling us he wasnt all that good anyway.

He's younger than most fighters at nearly 32. But he does have plenty reoccurring injuries. I'm sure we'll see Fedor get into some wars and maybe even lose by 1 hit wonder.
