He isn't good, I remember talking to a bunch of polish guys about the Klitschkos around 2000 and they were just raving about how great Golota was and that the Klitschkos would never evaluate into anything.

I agree......... Golota was once a favorite heavy to watch of mine, but his KO losses to Brewster, Austin and Adamek" clearly states his goose is fried.... Golota is my age of 44, but like myself in 2011, the speed, timing and reflexes are gone...

    Q:

Does anyone wanna see Golota fight bums and stiffs in order to pad his record at its tail end??? NO!!!

    Golota should stay retired....:hi:

I have ambivalent thoughts on this one, I have always felt that Golota was a chronic underachiever and I always rooted for him. He is quite the enigma, sometimes he would look absolutely terrific, as he did in the two Bowe fights, and then on other occasions appear so vulnerable and chinny, presumable due to nerves. Like someone has already stated his two fights with Bowe were some of the most exciting heavyweight matches I have ever seen.
I hope he enjoys his retirement but if he wants to come back and have one more shot I hope that he gets himself into the best of shape and is honest to himself. If he struggles in one of the tune-up matches I think he should just re-retire after that. Nevertheless I will always give Golota respect, I just wish he had fulfilled the promise he showed.

I don't think anyone under-rated him. He was a monster, that was obvious to almost everyone.

Golata-Bowe was a masterpiece, until that little worm started eating his brain from the inside out.

I like the guy but dont see any point in another fight. He is too old and has been in too many hard fights over the years. He should give the comeback a miss.
