first...marquez -285 against katsidis i think that line should be doubled....i know how old marquez is...but i just dont see the guy aging so badly going into this fight.....katsidis is severly outclassed here....hell be eating counters and lured into traps.....i think its pretty easy money....i love everything about marquez as a fighter....and that line is way off jcc jr. is only -450 against gomez....again...tell me why? i think that line should be at least close to doubled.....i see virtually no way gomez wins this....especially with jcc linked up with the trainer and conditioning coach.... khan is -310 against maidana.....dont feel as strong about this play as the others.....but i still like it...of course there are the flags that go up about khans chin....but im pretty sure maidanas win over ortiz isnt as impressive as it originally looked....khan has too many tools...and hes getting great sparring and training.....hes never lacked for confidence and seems to be gaining more.....probably the only play here ill play to only win 1 unit..... any thoughts?
Khan fight is a big overlay. He is hyped true line should be Khan -175 -200 at most that is worth a value play for sure.
Marquez is definitely gonna win. That's a lock to me. I wouldn't bet on Khan due to his unproven chin at this point.
The Marquez bet is good value but I wouldnt make it. Katsidas has so much emotion going into this fight with the passing of his brother and all. The man is really hungry for this fight, whereas Marquez could very well underestimate Katsidas as just some hard-punching no skill brawler.
Katsidis is a bull and I can see him having some success in the same vein as Diaz did against Marquez in their first fight. I agree Marquez should be too classy but I have reservations on that one as far as betting on it. One that I'm feeling strongly about right now is Khan by UD straddled with Maidana by KO. I think Khan will be only too happy to play matador to Maidana and coupled with Maidana being a tough customer, I believe he'll withstand Khan's offense and last the 12 even if he's outboxed for long portions of the fight. On the flip side, Maidana getting to that chin is his only path to victory, he's not getting a decision in this one. Pretty good lines last time I checked, both options were 9/4 on my sports book.
