I've been a member on this forum for a while. Really enjoy all the great boxing discussion. I'm a boxer myself, I fight as a light heavyweight. I've been boxing for about 7 years, I've had 25 Amateur fights, my record is 19-6 . Haven't fought in a while, planning on being back in the ring next year. Heres some of my footage . check it out, I'm hoping not to long from now to have some new footage to post I wanna be back in the ring by March next year. This is a fight from the OBA golden gloves in 2014, the fight was stopped after the second because of a cut I won via TKO. I would go on and win the tournament Round 1 This content is protected Round 2 This content is protected This fight is from the first round of a tournament. I beat this guy in the finals of a previous tournament. Beat him even worse this time. In the first vid..your bulling your opponent to much...create your own space to get punches off..back off just a little ,your to close to do damage unless you do side step body to head shots..but your straight forwards pressure, work on explosive footwork /jumping side to side not just out muscling someone backwards.
I actually like how he fights. For a second, I thought I was watching a video from the 20's...until I realized that it was in color LOL. Seriously though, he's obviously in good shape and he came in with a clear game-plan. The pushing and mauling were intended to smother the other guy's offense. Good job, heizenberg.
That would be the wrong advise...he only got hit clean actually ON THE INSIDE...if he stays at mid range its a easy fight b/c his opponent wasnt presenting much offense. you have to know distance and range .constant pressure here was unessessary.
His opponent wasn't presenting offense because heizen didn't give him enough room to get off. Look, he isn't orthodox by any means, but he clearly knows how to fight. My guess is that he posted the footage to get feedback but isn't really planning on making wholesale changes.
