...amaze me. Can't you just sit back, give Pavlik and Taylor both props and enjoy what was one of the best fights I've seen in as long as I can remember. And those who are disrespecting Pavlik? Are you kidding me? Pavlik just ripped through Miranda and Taylor. Neither fighter had ever been down in their lives and he knocked them both out cold. Same with Zertuche. Same with McKart. Plus, he showed the heart of a champion. And I'm a Taylor fan. To end all the controversy once and for all, Pavlik SHOULD have been allowed to continue in Round Two, the scorecards SHOULD have been close (the ringside judges' cards are questionable at best, and Dan Rafael should be fired for having it 6-0 Taylor) and Smoger SHOULD have stopped the fight in the 7th. Taylor was done. He was out. He lost the fight. Most importantly, Pavlik is bringing new fans to the sport. I had four buddies over last night who have never watched boxing, they all loved the fight and asked me when I was having another fight party. Pavlik is good for boxing. Which is good for all of us!

I wonder why four males have not watched boxing and were interested in this fight of all fights. It was not the must see fight of the year. This is bull**** to the highest order. The point is simple, if you are all of a sudden a boxing fan after seeing Pavlik KO Taylor. I question your motivation. Get the hell out of here with that crap. I mean seeing Mike Tyson. Seeing Sugar Ray. Seeing Muhammed Ali made people into boxing fans. Not one damned fight of Kelly Pavlik. WTF:verysad

Wasn't Miranda down once before he fought Pavlik - against Green?

To answer your question, two of the guys were from Youngstown (thus, that is why they wanted to watch Pavlik) and two of the guys just has never watched boxing. They're all big sports fans, just not boxing. There was a day when you had never watched boxing before too. There probably was that day for all of us. If this is the fight that gets them to watch more fights, like I said, Pavlik is good for the sport.

I agree. All three of those guys are crowd pleasers. I could watch the Cotto-Judah, Cotto-Malignaggi and Cotto-Torress fights over and over again. Can't wait for Mosley-Cotto

Yeah but if you claim to be any sports fan and never watched a boxing match and living through the tyson era. You are either lying or have some screws loose. And of course the youngstown guys are boxing fans now..there guy won...

Great fight between worthy adversaries, but the judge's cards were abominable!! No way in any existence, can you make the case for a five point advantage 59-54 to Taylor. That judge might as well have mailed in his scorecard.:-(

Both guys made a fight of it, and it came extremely close to Taylor KO 2. Credit both guys, Pavlik's focus, improvement, and determination. He boxed one hell of a smart fight:yep Everyone should be willing to watch a rematch at 68 assuming Taylor takes the option, since that's at 68 which sets up the winner, to fight the winner of Calzaghe vs Kessler. A real Super Middle Championship to go with the newly acquired 160 Championship:good

****kk you *****. and your dumb ass dreamworld that 4 males on earth never watched boxing and are sports fans and they just so happen to be fans after Pavlik Taylor. That by far is the dumbest **** I ever heard period. If it were two women, I can understand. But males. WTF. Unless they are 12-18 there is no excuse.
