---- WLAD KLITSCHKO (2006-2013) -13 consecutive title defenses (only Louis and Holmes have more as HW Champs) -7 years as heavyweight champion (similar in longevity to Holmes, Jack Johnson and Jack Dempsey; only Louis is above in this area). -8 years undefeated (Top5 Undefeated Streaks at Heavyweight)
I don't particularly enjoy watching him, but Wlad is building a strong case as an all time great. :good
The Hayemaker went 12 Rounds with the #1 Heavyweight in the world in a sparring match with a broken toe. Simply Incredible.
I haven't seen the Wach fight yet but this is something that always bothered me about the Klits and heavyweights today in general. Body punching opens so much up for a fighter and makes things a lot more exciting.
Haye is his best win in years and it wasn't an impressive showing by either guy, and Haye was injured. Who has he beaten worth a mention in recent times and in impressive style, the way he should be beating the level of the opposition? Tonight wasn't impressive, he has great power in his shots yet a slow, clumsy tomato can with zero head movement went the distance when it was clear from round 1 it was a mismatch, he still leaned in all night after the jab right hand. Why not fight guys like Chisora/Helenius or even Povetkin just now instead of passing them over to Vitali or ducking them instead. Tim Witherspoon and Frank Maloney were totally right in what they said about the fight
