Brook had success early on, and stood in there and showed a lot of guts throughout the fight; but after about the 2nd round, GGG went all out on him, and it was almost all GGG at that point. Brook was taking a beating by the 4th round. What surprised me in the fight was that Brook was able to back GGG off early on and seemed to bother him with his punches. Still, GGG looked like a scary dude in there. I wonder where Canelo's head is after seeing that.

Brook tried . I gotta give him that. The man has balls

But he would never win against a monster like GGG

It takes a much much bigger man than Triple G with insane scary power to beat him

    Everyone at 160 knows that

I knew any success Brook had in this fight was going to be exaggerated

He had plenty of success in the first 4 rounds, more than most people have against GGG. He was landing pretty well, defending well at times and taking Golovkins shots well for welterweight. However Golovkin also had success and his shots did more damage and broke Brook down as expected.

He did better than any one else I've ever seen in there with GGG. Granted I haven't seen all of his fights.

    To a certain extent.

It was bound to happen due to the hate of Golovkin LOL

    Brook deserves praise nevertheless.

To me it looked like Golovkin put very little effort or thought into this fight. He went in there without any semblance of respect or craft and beat Brook down. He was swinging wild. You never see GGG do that. He was sloppy like he didn't give a ****. He just wanted to get the **** out of town and get some real food.

Brook will make some good fights at 154 and the Bongs can be proud of his heart and they are probably mostly still drunk, so I'll give em' a pass on the crazy talk til' tomorrow after they get a nap.

Or because people are not used to seeing anyone have success against Golovkin.

I think Brook exceeded the expectations of a lot of people, I personally didn't expect Brook to fight that kind of fight.

It was rather exciting while it lasted, Brook took some really heavy shots and stood up to them and tried to give as good as he got, he pretty much went toe to toe with the hardest punching middleweight on the planet and never hit the canvas. Golovkin looked sloppy at times and that made it entertaining but the end was half of what people expected.

Brook started to feel the weight and power of a genuine hard punching middleweight and Brook started to look like a man who had thrown everything he had, emptied his tank and couldn't keep Golovkin off him.

Brooks success, effort and bravery impressed a lot of fans and I can see why so I'm not surprised some people are going a little OTT.
