What do you people not get it, he admitted in an interview after the fight that it was his choice to have his corner stop the fight.

What you are referring to is Cotto being a proud and humble guy...not making ANY excuses...when there was plenty to be made...and valid ones at that...

Unlike you're pretty boy ducking homo of a ***** fighter who's as valid as a ****in' radio commercial..."I'm the best. I make it rain. I'll beat that ass"

He sure as **** hasn't warranted any of these comments...other than that he makes it rain in lies and horse****

Who knows why he said that....maybe to keep his uncle near or something.During the fight he didn't quit,he was beaten and about to be stopped when the fight was stopped by Bayless after Evangelista waved it off.

Valid point...I knew I got bent out of shape...and I apologize

But your use of the "quit" is beyond offensive...

He gave his corner the okay to stop the fight.

He quit. Deal with it. Smart choice but he did it.

You're taking it offensive because people dont want quit and Cotto in the same sentence unless its him beating someone into submission.

It's stupid to say Cotto quit thus putting him in the same pot as Peter who actually did quit.
Tell me....did Willard quit with Dempsey?

Have you watched the fight? Or are you just reading reports...

Watch the fight...in the 11th round he dropped to a knee because his legs gave out (I understand Margarito didn't even punch him before he fell) and Evangelista waved it off...No where in there did he look at his corner or wave to his corner or signal to his corner...

What you read is Cotto being humble and harsh on himself...

So you think him going to down without being hit wasn't a signal.

    Gotcha.

Dude, you seem to have crowned yourself king of macho. So what are your qualifications? Are you like some Congressional Medal-of-Honor holder or what? What have you done that justifies your constant disrespect to all manner of boxers? Tell us a story...:-(
