...how you can even post, after coming back without Cotto challenging Williams sources...is beyond me.

...I guess that is part of your..."there's more to the truth than facts.":D

The amount of bull**** I'm seeing from multiple posters on this thread is getting on my nerves...

"Cotto took a knee...he quit...he gave up the fight...this is a contact sport"

    :huh

Clearly none of you have been in the ring and know what its like to face adversity...or have a grasp of what its like to try and fight with a bloody nose or take as many punches as either fighter did that night...

I'm dealing with people who criticize behind a screen in both their homes and computers...

I'm done debating this idea of what "quitting" means...

To answer the original post...Pac has a chance as does EVERY fighter...but the chances are slim to none...

Clearly? Obviously you dont know me and shouldn't talk about things you have no idea about.

I understand why he quit but he does it again, why even box?

I'll give you that...if he "quits" again...he really should just think about closing out a few more fights and retire...

I was more ranting about Suge than you...but you pose a fair argument...I don't necessarily agree with it but its a fair question

"Clearly your honor...the glove does not fit my hand...that's a fact"

You have to be a ****in' moron to see there's more to the truth than just the facts

I doubt that! I think Cotto is a bigger JMM. Trouble for PAC.

    ...the glove...???

It's a fact that there is more to a "lie" than facts...and it's a fact you don't know the meaning of the word quit.

I have already stated that he "quit" in a text book definition...Eze did that many posts ago...

But what I figured we we're arguing here is whether quitting is associated being a coward or giving up a fight...and when i mean "give up" im not using the dictionary sense of the word but rather the sense of not even bother of trying to win the fight...

Yes...Cotto "quit" the fight...but are we arguing semantics or the "lack of heart" to finish the fight

...and I already stated that calling him a coward, or saying he lacks heart is a matter of opinion.

The fact is he quit...if he has showed heart in other cases or not, really doesn't matter. He's a tough guy...but he's not the machine that he's being made out as, unless you ignore his last fights.

No one ever IN THE ENTIRE THREAD has stated he was or is a machine...

And yes...you clearly stated your case and I have already admitted long ago that he "quit"

The bolded area is where we agree...

    I know this already...

I did not restrict my comments to a commentary on this thread alone...in general on the board, there are those making him out to be some kind of destroyer...that Pac wouldn't even belong in the ring with him. When Cotto is all but being handed the belt against the 40 something ranked Jennings.

This is the second thread Ive seen in 2 days that eze has hijacked to label cotto as a quitter. About 300 posts saying the same sh*t - "cotto quit. he admitted it in an interview. It was his decision."

That night I was going for Margo, as he is one of my fav fighters. But Cotto impressed the hell outta me. B4 the fight, I was telling everyone that Margo would end it in the 8th. I had no idea Cotto would take such a beating and keep coming back for more. He kept on fighting, and was giving as well as he was taking. Cotto was a mess at the end and eventhough he wasnt ktfo, he was done and would only be risking he health and well being if he continued with the fight. To label him as a quitter is ignorant.

But if you get your rocks off calling him a quitter, be my guest. you just sound like a broken record. What do you do all day, sit on here waiting for someone to mention MIGUEL COTTO so you can repeat the same garbage?

Again, Im not even a Cotto fan, just showing respect. Get off the dude's jock.
