This Manny love-in since saturdays fight is pretty amusing to say the least. MP is an incredible athlete but many people on here seem to think that he has morphed into some sort of invincible godzilla creature when the 3 in the red column proves otherwise.

Pacs 4 fights over the past twelve months or so need to be put in context:

Barrera - Pac scores an easy victory over a man who was way, way past his best.

JMM - Pac goes life and death and snatches a very controversial SD, which many observers would have given to JMM

David Diaz - Pac takes the WBC LW strap off of the weakest champ in the division...a man who I would let Amir Khan in the ring with with some hope that Khan would both survive and beat. If Pac was serious about making a noise at LW why not take on Nate?

ODLH - Pac scores a very convincing win over a severely weight drained and leaden footed has been....someone who has not made the WW limit for eight years. Again, if he was serious about scoring a meaningful win at 147 why not fight a true WW?

There is absolutely nothing in the above that would suggest to me that Manny Pac would be able to live with Miguel Cotto. Cotto would destroy him at both 140 and 147.

Just my opinion: Cotto needs to get rid off that bad habit he has of stepping back after connecting a good punch to admire his work. That affected him against Margarito. Keep punching and stop trying to look cool!!!
