some people are acting as if the 2nd round didn't happen...

I thought it was goodnight in R2

 

It was most comparable to Judah vs Cotto.

Judah and Taylor are a little below their opponents level. But with a high workrate, they can be on top for several rounds. This ultimately leads to their downfall.

They aren't really being truly competitive, they are just knackering themselves out. The snaps goes, then they get dominated.

yup! and JT was stupid for not ending it then..3,4,5,6,7th rounds shouldnt have happened. i lost money here.

 

man I aint gonna lie, I almost **** myself but that dont mean ****, Pavlik got up survived the beating and came back to knock taylor to F out...it dont matter when u get KNOCKED DOWN, it only matters WHEN u get KNOCKED OUT!!!

 

oh and BTW dont give Taylor all the credit for the 2nd rd kd...Pavlik deserved it by sticking out his chin like a ****in moron...I bet he wont do that again...

 

Was that deliberate? It looked like he was 'saying' 'is that it?' and got tagged.

 

It's like I said in a different post. What if Pavlik doesn't get up or Taylor finishes it??? Great fight anyhow. It's got my vote for FOTY for sure.

 

I think that round played out like Marciano Walcott 1, round 1. The 2 rounds were very close to likeness imo.

 

Pavlik was hurt before he stuck his chin out. He stuck his chin out b/c he is just one badd mother****er and he was reacting to being hurt as he was not firing back but on the defense. Taylor is just a ****** to let him clinch his way out of that round. Taylor was surprised himself that he had Pavlik beat he did not know how to finish him which would of only took a ODH type flurry mixing in a few uppercuts. Pavlik was on donuts.

 

In order to get from 1 to 7, 2 is unavoidable and therefore it happened.
